I recently purchased carpet protectors to combat the relentless digging and scratching from my four cats at the door jams, and I’m thrilled with the results! These protectors have been a game-changer for preserving my carpets and maintaining my sanity.The protectors were incredibly easy to work with. They arrived precut to fit standard doorways, but I did cut to further customize them. Installation was a breeze: I simply placed them over the carpet at the door jams, pressed them down, and they stayed in place thanks to some Velcro tape I added to the tile side of the floor. No tools or complicated steps were required, and they didn’t damage the carpet when I repositioned them. Appearance wise they look a lot better than the carpet peeling up. They are very Sturdy and I haven’t stumped my toe on them at all.If you’re battling cats who treat your carpets like a personal scratching post, these protectors are a must-have. They’re user-friendly, highly effective, and have saved my doorways from further destruction. I only wish I’d found them sooner!

Bought 2 of these to protect our carpet underneath doorways after we saw how well the first one did! The material is sturdy, and can withstand scratching pretty easily. The material is also not too thick; where it would render the door getting stuck. I have had no issues with the mat blocking the door at all! The other plus I’ll mention is that you can cut the material fairly easily to fit your doorway. For those of you with pets who love to scratch by doorways, this is a MUST have! For the mats price, it’s worth your money than having to pay for new carpet or flooring!TLDR; Affordable, durable, easy to adjust to doorway, sleek, does NOT block door when used with carpet

One of our cats in particular demands food at all hours. His solution was to rip up the carpet all night. This product was super simple to measure and cut to size. It does its job and even a fifteen pound cat can’t move it to rip up the carpet anymore. The material is a good thickness and my cats cannot scratch the carpet though it.The only con is that it can slide. We have it halfway on carpet and halfway on wood. I have slipped on it.

A literal life saver! My cat would scratch so bad at my carpet under the door but with this no more! It’s super cute and stylish and super easy to cut down to fit your doorframe! It holds really well to the carpet thanks to the little nubs on the bottom side so it’s not going anywhere! Easy to wipe down and doesn’t let your cat scratch! It is a bit darker than the actual photo but it’s still very cute and definitely does what it’s intended to do!

Worked perfectly to keep cats from scratching up the carpet. Love that I could cut it to any dimension as well.

Because of being rolled up, it comes with creases that are hard to get out. Also, it lifts fairly easily, so my cats got under it and continued tearing at the carpet I was trying to protect. It is thick and cleans easily, but unfortunately didn't do what I wanted.

This is a lifesaver! Cutting it to the door was the tricky part, but it was easy to cut. My cat has not scratched at the door at all since I bought it!
