Works as expected - some patience required
Good 4G router with helpful support, and straightforward to set up. I was using this indoors in a large exhibition hall, for backup wifi during a busy expo. I wasn't confident it would work in these far-from-ideal circumstances but I was able to get decent speeds. This worked with a Verizon data SIM (you need to activate the SIM in-store on a device first, or it won't work). I had to follow specific instructions on the Cudy website to manually change a number of default settings in order for it to work. Although I think this had more to do with Verizon being tricky than the router itself.

Works as it should.
I’m very excited that this cell phone router works as good as it does. I installed it in my pole barn, in a fairly remote area. The cell phone towers are not too far away. And I was able to connect my wi-fi camera to it, and view the captured images, at my home. 200 miles away.

From time to time it needs shut off and give it 10 seconds and turn back on
It does not work as good as the last one. I got all 4 light with the old one and 3 with the new. Still works pretty good. for the country life with little att service it isn't a bad way to go

Does what it says.
Nice item for the price. Plug and play as mentioned in the description. Easy to use and understand. It has a relatively easy interface and hooks up immediately once the simm card is installed. Signal strength is optimal once an outside antenna is used. Without it coverage is ok. Speeds are between 20 and 45 mgbs depending on weather conditions. With an outside antenna I’ve seen speeds up to 125 mgbs. Do your homework when buying this tou type of modem and know exactly what you expect and want. If you’re close to a cell tower then no need for outside antenna. If it’s further away it’s best to spend the extra dollars for the antenna. You’ll be much hairier.

Surprised how well it works, has become my new main router.
This is a pretty good router so far. I really surprised me on the performance. You get the essential speeds for home use and it is about the same as most average router. It does not have have some extra bells and whistles to it. I would say it works best home rather than office use for sure as this is not the top of the line router. I would say this is just your basic router. That being said, it does well for home usage. The router is similar size and design as other brands. The setup was not too difficult compared to other routers. It did have a bit of a hard time reaching the dead zone of my house compared to my other router. This actually reached and covered my dead zone area surprisingly. As with any router, I will suggest it put this device in the upstairs part of the house to get a better signal. Cudy has similar security features as most routers from what I can tell. The security feature is very easy to setup and user friendly so you do not have to be a tech wizard to set it up. I would say another thing about this device is that the user interface is pretty straight forward and easy to use compared to many other brands. The signal distance is better than my old router. It can go through several rooms before having issues with connection. It does have Ethernet ports to plug directly into the router and does not require any additional setup to your device. The device is very big and because of the design cannot really be laid down. There are LED lights in the front are not super bright but can be distracting at night. Again it does have several Ethernet ports on the back to make it easy for the router to provide direct lines to other devices. Overall I do feel that this device works beat my expectation. It is not very challenging to setup and works well once you are done it is really blazing fast, but the signal does actually killed my dead zone. This device does run a bit hotter than normal so do not leave this in direct sun light or anything. It has plenty of antennas to help with the signal but it still does not reach as far as many other routers.

All the LAN ports just stopped working really disappointed
After less than 5 months, all of the LAN ports stopped functioning randomly. Only the wifi and cellular modem works.

Works well!
I recently bought the Cudy AC1200 single sim router, but decided to replace it with this Cudy dual sim model. It pairs well with two EIOT Club data only sim cards I purchased here on Amazon. I put in the sims, powered up the router, and was connected to the internet in about a minute. Once I re-named the (two) router connections to what I wanted in the router settings, it was secure and good to go! Not a super fast connection (it is after all 4G LTE), but it is stable and makes a great back up internet!

does not work with Verizon
Spent about an our on the phone with Verizon tech support and they could not activate the modem. Perhaps it works with Verizon in other parts of the country but not in NE Ohio. Hard for me to review performance since it didn't work for me.
