LORACPorefection Complexion Pen In Concealer, CP8 Warm

I used to use Lorac Coverup concealer (in the little pots) in C2, and it's still my favorite concealer ever (so rare to find something pale with yellow undertones), but is completely gone. So every now and then I look to see if they have something new to try. I was hoping this would be similar, but it's not. It's hard as a rock and barely goes on. Once it's on, it's hard to blend. Blending is pretty much the One Job of a concealer. It had one job. And nope, it didn't do it. Granted, I haven't used a stick concealer since I was a kid in the 90s, but those always blended. Packaging is also pretty bad: the lid is really hard to get off. I *think* the color is ok, though it's hard to tell because of the blending issue. I don't understand why they abandoned an actually good product in favor of awful ones.

My whole life I have had very fair almost translucent skin. I ordered CP2 and this baby is VERY LIGHT. My incidental sun exposure (even living in Germany in the winter) has been enough lately to give me more color than I realized. Or perhaps as I age? Either way, I can't even wear this out because the color is so wrong for me.I tried it just around the house. Application was easy, the product is very smooth, and the way the end is shaped it's easy to get just a tiny dot of it if you only want to cover a small red mark.I just ordered a darker shade. I will update with a user review once I know how well it works and holds up.

I tried this product for the first time when I was tired of looking for the best concealer. The sales person at Kohl’s said they were out of the color that I should try, so she ordered it for me at the store. Took awhile to get, but I liked the pink tone better than the yellow tone concealers I had been using. So rather than wait longer for it to get to me, I ordered this replacement and I am happy with the product I received. It arrived quickly and is good quality.

Concealers have different types of applicators, and this style is my favorite. It is very easy to use especially because you can use it with one hand. The system is like that of mechanical pencils. And I personally like its click sound.The color matches that of my skin very well. I tested it at a store and bought it here. When I am about to blend it a couple of minutes after I apply it, I sometimes can't find it. It also covers blemishes and dark spots quite well. I will keep using it.

This is difficult to use. You have to click it lick a ball point pen to move the makeup up the tube. Takes like 10 clicks to barely get any product. Disappointed in the purchase. The makeup itself is good once you finally get some out.
