These Pigeon books are adorable!
My son's pre-school teacher advised me that she has been reading the pigeon books in class so with Christmas coming up, I was immediately intrigued and looked them up on here. The prices were so fantastic compared to the full price of his book orders, that I could not resist ordering one immediately as one of his many presents for Christmas. I have read it to him multiple times and plan to get more. I might order the whole series!

My 3yr old's new favorite book!
I ordered this book with a reward credit through Xfinity not knowing this would be my daughter's new favorite book. This is the first book that she will sit down and read on her own, and yes, she recites every page by memory and is so happy to read to everyone else in the house. She requests her "pigeon book" at night when we're getting ready for bed and loves to yell out, "LET ME DRIVE THE SLEIGH!" Definitely recommend and will be buying other books in the series as well.

Fun Holiday Addition to the Pigeon Series!
Our family adores the Pigeon series, and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh is another fantastic addition! The mischievous Pigeon is back with his usual antics, and the story is as entertaining and hilarious as ever. The illustrations are vibrant and engaging, capturing all the charm we love from the series. Unlike many holiday-themed spin-offs that can feel rushed or uninspired, this book stands on its own as a genuinely fun and well-thought-out story. It’s a delightful read for the whole family and a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. Highly recommended!

Fun for all ages and encourages kids to read!
My daughters (7 year old twins and 3 year old) and I are obsessed with Mo Willems' books. My twins started memorizing his books when they were 2 years old, so of course we were very excited for a new Pigeon book! That persuasive pigeon is always up to something! I love the story. It's like the others, but unpredictable, so it was so much fun to read and I'm looking forward to reading it many more times. There's also a little "Easter egg" hidden on the page with the fireplace, and my daughters noticed it right away! I just saw stockings at first, but they knew! I don't want to spoil it for Mo Willems fans, so that's all I'll say. ;)And the ending really made me hopeful for another Pigeon book. I sure hope he'll write more, because we love them! It's another cute book, but what I love most about Mo Willems' books is that they're enjoyable no matter how old you are and they're educational. Toddlers love the silly characters and their lines, which they quickly memorize, and then that encourages them to read. One of my twins was reluctant to practice reading sometimes, but she was always in the mood for Pigeon or Elephant and Piggie books. They really helped with her confidence. Both of them started reading chapter books last year, but we'll always enjoy Mo Willems' books. Of course I got "Be the Bus," which is targeted towards adults, too.I definitely recommend this book for any age and it would make a wonderful Christmas gift! We just couldn't wait until then and had to read it now. :)

More pigeon-created drama. Perfect for reading aloud!
Mo Willems hits it out of the park again. The pigeon once again wants to drive something. This time it's a sleigh. As in previous volumes, he begs and pleads before throwing a temper tantrum. Once he calms down though, he takes a closer look at the sleigh and realizes their is no clutch or steering wheel. The last straw pokes it's nose onto the page sending pigeon fleeing. The humor shines through as the pigeon learns once again that sometimes things aren't exactly what we expect them to be and desires can change. But has he actually learned his lesson? I don't think so judging by the twist at the end. Mo Willems has a knack for creating books that are a delight to read and make numerous readers laugh both young and old. Perfect for reading aloud with it's simple yet perfectly designed text. The use of a variety of fonts gives readers clues about how to read it. It's simply impossible not to become the pigeon as one reads. The illustrations are bright and eye-catching. It never ceases to amaze me the way he conveys so much emotion with simple lines and shapes. Young readers and writers may even want to create their own pigeon stories. A great read aloud for the holiday season and all year.

Cute book!
Such a cute book. My daughter loves these books and this one arrived fast. We ended up ordering another one because her preschool teacher loved the book as well when she took it to class.

Kids love it
I was a mystery reader at my daughter's preschool and this was one of the books I read. The kids approved. And they got crazy. And one of the teachers had to stand in front of the class and get them to settle down. That a wild experience, but yeah the kids liked the book.
