I cannot recommend Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner enough! This stuff works insanely well with minimal effort, making brush cleaning an absolute breeze. It used to feel like such a chore, but now, it's so quick and easy that I actually clean my brushes regularly—and they’ve never been cleaner! The process is simple: just dip your brush into the solution, let it sit for a moment, then wipe it on a paper towel. Within a few swipes, even the most stubborn makeup is completely gone. It even removes waterproof products, which are usually impossible to get out. No scrubbing, no rinsing—just clean brushes in seconds! One of the best parts is that not only are my brushes instantly clean, but they also dry super quickly. Normally, when I wash my brushes with other cleansers I have to rinse them with water, leaving the brushes soaking wet, which requires me to let them dry overnight. With this cleaner, I can clean my brushes, let them sit while I do my skincare or get dressed, and within 10 minutes or so, they’re nearly dry and ready to use! One thing to note is that it does take a fair amount of solution, especially for larger brushes, since they soak it up quickly. I purchased the 16 oz bottle, which is the second largest size they sell, and have been able to clean my brushes about 4 times so far and feel like I can get another 2-3 out of the bottle. The bottle lasts a decent amount of time, also considering that I have a ridiculous number of makeup brushes, especially large ones. For me, it’s worth every penny to know I’m applying makeup with brushes that are actually clean, not full of bacteria. I’ve really been focusing more on my skincare routine, and using dirty brushes totally contradicts that effort—so this cleaner has been a game changer. In addition to how great they clean, the cleanser makes my brushes so soft after using it and the scent is amazing! Instead of smelling like harsh chemicals, it has a nice vanilla fragrance that makes the whole process even more pleasant. If you want something that works effortlessly and keeps your brushes in top shape, this is 100% worth it!

This is a magic cleanser! I bought a small bottle to test before buying the big thing (if you’re reading this, I’ve tried for you, buy the big thing, IT WORKS)! My makeup brushes have never been cleaner. I am no longer scrubbing them to death with soap, cleanser, and a rubber mat. I know with this cleanser, my brushes will last much longer. I can also clean my brushes and use them again right away because they dry immediately! I have sensitive skin, and this brush cleanser has not affected my skin at all. A little bit of this cleanser goes a long way. It does have a strong smell (says vanilla, which I get a little of), but you get used to it. I have dedicated an old hand towel to cleaning my brushes, use it every cleaning day, then throw it in the wash.

Cleans brushes in a swipe with very little product. Strong odor. It worked so well all I could think of is how is there not chemical residue that is going to be on my skin? I’ve only used the brushes once since I cleaned them and had no skin irritation but it still leaves me wondering how something that strong is not somehow making it off the brush and into my skin.

This is my second time purchasing this product, and I wanted to give my honest review from my personal experience. First, the pros: This cleaner is VERY effective. It cleans makeup brushes so well, disinfects them, and dries super fast. As a makeup artist, that’s exactly why I love using it — especially when I need my brushes cleaned quickly between clients. Now for the cons: I do think it’s a little pricey for the amount you get, and the smell honestly isn’t the best. It smells a lot like acetone or nail polish remover. Overall though, I still really like it because of how well it works.

This is the BEST makeup brush cleaner ever! So easy to use and gets brush residue off instantly. I had a professional stylist tell me about this product and I’m so glad she did! No mess and so fast! LOVE this and will be buying more as needed. Worth every penny!

This really does clean your makeup brushes. However, it leaves a harsh alcohol smell behind and doesn't remove all the staining. Additional I can see this getting expensive over time especially if you are cleaning your brushes at least once a week like you should for personal use. I've never even going to talk about Professional use. So i would use it on a regular basis. I used 1/4 of the bottle on my first use. Probably would have used more if I wasnt testing two brands at the same time. However, if you need you brushes cleaned asap without all the drying time. This is it. You'll still need about 10 to 15 minutes for larger brushes to fully dry but that beats having to let them dry for hours/overnight.

Great product, actually it's one of the best and fast working brush cleaners I own. It smells absolutely wonderful! I sometimes cringe when products use scent to enhance its marketable value but it actually worked here. The vanilla is subtle but its a treat when you start to apply your makeup. Shipping was fast,

This brush cleaner is super good! My brushes felt really soft afterward, and it took off makeup with just a little product. I think the blue stain issue might be from using too much, but you really only need a small amount. If you need more, just dab a little more on the solution and it works really well. The only mess is probably just where the makeup ends up in your towel. It's also really effective. Just be aware, though, the fragrance is super strong – it smells like nail polish, but it's a lot stronger.
