I bought one Pierre Henry metal file box some years ago. But, with a mountain of accumulated files, I bought another, and it was so userful, that I bought four more! All of my plastic, and card A4 files fit the boxes comfortably with space to spare.The included suspension files are essential to lift the heavy paper files from off the bottom of the box., so, I have ordered enough files to fill the four boxes.I am more than delighted with these smart, bronze, metal boxes, as they stack beside the bookcase, and have inset handles for lifting.I laugh at the other reviews concerning the "difficult" locks. .....Have patience... move, and wiggle both of the metal sections until they fit the slot. I had lock "problems" only with the first one, but just calmly, and determindly..... not to be defeated by a little lock.... just wiggled the two halves together. And.... Hey Ho! Job done!I am absolutely delighted with these smart, sturdy files...Easy to access, and much better than a clanky, dull-grey cabinet!

If you're looking for a plain sturdy metal file box with a smooth gloss finish then this is it. As far as that goes it's 100%. The lock isn't brilliant, but let's be serious, this isn't a safe! The lock is only there to stop the lid opening by accident when in transit, or to stop pesky people getting into your files without trace - the lock is not there to deter anyone who wouldn't mind breaking the box to bits to get inside of it. I originally bought another box which looked very similar and was a few bob cheaper - despite looking identical to this one in the ad it came with a rustic finish and silly indents on the lid which someone thought would be a good idea, I returned it immediately for this, which can't be argued with.

I brought this item in Nov14 for £14.84. The black metal is thin but it does the Job, it holds suspension files within it at the moment I have 15 in there and there is probably enough room for another three depending how much you fill your files. The construction of the box is ok its nothing fancy.The lock is very cheap, if your looking to prevent someone steeling or breaking it open then this will fail. It closes and keeps the items locked but a hammer and a chizzle will easily remove the lock. If your just looking for some filing in the home to keep locked to prevent someone just opening it by accident then it does the trick. The lock hasn't broken on me yet I know others have had a problem with it. I'm giving a three stars mainly because of the lock.

More flimsy than expected, worse still the lock supplied was different, meaning a key is needed every time the box is used. Not what I wanted.

Works well and locks as it says. I find the enclosed file holders flimsy. The A4 folders I have to keep in them only fit in sideways, so I would have liked the box to have been a bit wider, but it does the job.

Excellent item and just as described, very useful.

Good well built box. Suspension files fit well and do not fall of the rails unlike other boxes I have had in the past. I don't think the box would take much effort to break into but not found a box that would be.

Die Box ist sehr stabil und solide, Schlüssel und sämtliches Zubehör wurden in der unverschlossenen Box mitgeliefert. Es sind sogar fünf Hängetaschen bereits enthalten.ABER: In diese Box passen keine Hängetaschen in A4 von Herlitz. Diese sind zu klein für die Box und rutschen ständig aus der Laufschiene heraus. Für mich war dieser Artikel leider nicht zu gebrauchen, daher erfolgte eine Rückgabe. Um dies alles zu vermeiden, hätte ein Hinweis auf diese besonderen Innenmaße sehr geholfen.

Produit reçu avec des accros, pourtant bien emballé ... Sinon le design est au rdv, c'est un jolie range document ... si vous n'en avez pas beaucoup a ranger.., seulement 5 pochettes de rangement en suspension, pas terrible. Un bon range document additionnel au final.Livraison rapide, merci

produit conforme à la description, tout à fait fonctionnel, c'est tout ce qu'on en attendaitfinitions propres, les 2 clefs sont bien pratiques (une sur le trousseau de chacun^^)
