Got this to replace an older one that was micro USB. Using it with an older N2 and older hardwire kit. Works same as original

Keeps falling.
Paid extra money to get this GPS mount, and it keeps falling. I'm not a fool, and carefully read/watched suction application suggestions.Now when I look, it seems like there's an upgraded (with smaller GPS bulb) version and that really irritates me. They knew it was bad, updated it, and now I'm stuck with this one that falls down risking damage to my very expensive N4 Pro?Really unfair. I've had phone mounts that require all my strength to remove, and phones weigh much more than this. How is this one so weak. I've owned it for about 5 months and it's fallen just as many times.UPDATE: I was contacted by Vantrue and sent the newer version which sticks with adhesive and it has been flawless, even in near-negative temperatures.

Works with older Vantrue N2
This GPS will work with an older Vantrue N2 that I have had for several years, but I also needed to buy this cable adapter to hook it up: Qaoquda USB C to Mini USB Cable, USB-C Type C Male to Mini USB Female Adapter Converter Charging Cable for MacBook Pro, Laptop, Android Devices(Only for Charging) (TypeC M to Mini F). I bought the cable adapter here on amazon. Older Vantrue N2 uses a different connector. So far it seems to be working fine.
