This is the best tablet cutter I have used it is so accurate and can cut small tablets easily. I have to cut one small tablet into thirds which has been very difficult but this cutter makes it much easier. It is good value for money as it's so accurate so no wastage, it is also really well made and neat. A really cool purchase 😊

This is a really sturdy, well made gadget that can take any size of pill and cut easily. Most pill cutters don't accommodate the long pills I take, they just don't fit, but this cutter can take any length of pill. It is very easy to use, requires no great strength, and feels like it will last forever. It is also small and slim for carrying with you. I would definitely recommend both the cutter and the seller. Delivery was quick and after sales excellent.

This little tool is the best pill cutter I have used. Allows accuracy when cutting even small pills. I need to cut a quarter of a pill for my dogs medication and does it so well and you can check before you press the blade to cut too. Well worth the money!

I love this item! You put the pill in and close the lid so that when you crush it the pill doesn't go flying around the room. Really easy and safe to break. Buy, buy, buyI was scared that it would be useless but it is able to crush 1000mg tablets. Would highly recommend.

I've been told by my doctor to split one of my medicines to twice a day. The pills are small and cutting them in half with a razor fiddly and the pills could shatter and spray around. This splits the pills neatly, accurately and easy. I really like the lid that stops the pills from spraying around.This is my new favourite tool.

Reviewed Feb 2024:Bought this to halve piriton anti-histamine pills for the dog, as she's supposed to have 1/2 am and 1/2 pm to manage allergies.This is a lot better than using a knife on a chopping board, were you end up chasing after one piece because its shot off somewhere.But, these are small tablets and I found it to be quite fiddly to get them into the right position and then halve them.To be fair, I do about 20 at a time, and by the time I'm half way through, I've got my eye in and it gets easier. I should say that I'm a fisherman so think I'm quite nimble fingered with tying small hooks, fine lines, small weights, etc, but....Larger tablets would be a doddle, and these are really small.Away from my small tablet choices, the actual cutter is really well made, its clear its been designed and well thought out. I'm glad I chose to spend a little more and get something thats quality.I did a couple of tests on a larger paracetamol tablet and its excellent.If I needed to buy another for whatever reason, I would.

I bought this pill cutter to replace a cheap, blunt cutter I'd inherited from my mother-in-law. The side-cutter design makes it a lot easier to cut pills accurately than the more common top down design. I'm very pleased with it so far and expect it to last for many years. The only improvement I could suggest would be to engrave some lines either side of the blade (see photos) to make judging the centre of the pill less error prone (we often have to cut pills into quarters, and there's no groove in the pill for that fraction). The ones I marked are 4mm either side of the blade; ideal for the size of pills I have to cut.

It's a horrible design.To put the pill in the correct position, you have to swing the bamboo cover aside. The grove to put the pill in its incredibly shallow, it doesn't hold it steady.To cut the pill you need to choose the bamboo cover. Closing the cover causes the pill to move. It's really stiff and difficult to get aligned. Then I have to try to manipulate the pill back into the right position with the cover closed.If I put the pill straight on in the cutter, the top 'blade' will come in at a ten o'clock position. This doesn't cut the pill in half, more like one third - two thirds.I have to rotate the pill to ten o'clock. Shut the cover, make sure it's back at ten o'clock again, then cut the pill. Then it comes out about right.It relies on brute force, strength and leverage, it isn't sharp. The cut edges are straight-ish but rough.The pill can't be put in any orientation, the cutter is too shallow.Mine also arrived pre-used and scratched, which is wonderful when you are dealing with something as sensitive as medication.I prefer my cheap plastic one with a razor blade. At least the triangle design holds the pill steady and keeps it centred.I will continue my search for a better cutter.
