No way to change the battery.
I bought this camera to install in my motorcycle. I guess because it does not have image stabilization, all the videos came out "liquid". Another major issue is that the battery, at 1080 HD, is enough just for 1h30min, and there is no way to change the battery.

Just as good as a GoPro
Great value. Bought a GoPro about a year ago. Paid $300. Found the MiHo on amazon for just $39.00. Every bit as good as the GoPro.

There are far better choices
I did want to like this camera and because I got it for well below half price on CyberMonday, I may yet keep it. However, there are a couple of serious drawbacks and I would certainly not pay the full price currently being advertised on Amazon. There are too many better cameras out there at similar prices.First the good stuff: 1) It's 16 megapixels of resolution for photographs. That's more than enough for high quality enlargements. 2) It claims to have a 130-degree wide angle lens. That's plenty good enough for underwater photography while being narrow enough to provide good above water shots without a "fish eye" effect. Most current cameras are promoting that their 170-degree WA lenses which may work fine underwater but will have a distinctively apparent "fish eye" effect for out of water shots. While this camera says it's 130-degrees, it seems wider than that to me and I would not be surprised to learn that it is actually 170-degrees because there is a noticeable fish eye effect on out of water shots. 3) The camera has multiple, easy to use menu functions making it highly versatile including a slow motion function and cyclic loop functions of 1, 5 and 10 minutes. 4) The instruction manual is decent, readable and understandable...a major accomplishment for a piece of equipment manufactured in Asia. That being said, the manual is apparently an update one fro an earlier model camera which was not well edited for the current version. For example, it says that a "red" charging indicator light will flash dim and bright while the camera is being charged and will become solid "red" when charging is completed. Actually, the charging indicator is a yellow lightning flash and it does nothing to indicate the state of charge. When the charging cord is unplugged it becomes a battery status light indicating four states of charge. There are other similar errors. Now for the drawbacks with the first one being a real deal breaker. 1) The battery is NOT replaceable. That means when the battery dies (and it will) you either must throw the camera away or face a repair charge to have a new battery installed if that's even possible. And that assumes you can find someone to do it. If I send the camera back, that will be the main reason. The built-in battery also means that your shooting time is limited to the charge on your battery and you can't just pop in a charged battery and go on shooting. You must wait until the battery is recharged to resume shooting. 2) The camera has no zoom function. Some cameras with a 170-degree wide angle lens will have a zoom function which will narrow the field of view to near normal, thus eliminating the fish eye effect. There are multiple other reasons to want a zoom function but this is a key one for me. 3) The sound quality is almost non-existent. The camera comes with what it calls a "heat dissipating" open slotted back which they recommend being used for above water shooting so sound can be recorded better than in a completely sealed case. In testing, I shot videos in front of and very close to a fairly loud TV and had to turn the volume fully up on my computer to hear the voices. I have not tried shooting videos with the camera out of the case because that is not how I will be using it. This problem makes the extra "heat dissipating" back virtually useless and not worth the hassle of changing it out, unless, of course, the camera actually gets hot enough to need the heat dissipated. There is no warning that this is a problem, however.Other than these important problems, this camera functions like many higher and lower-priced Hero knock-offs but there are plenty of lower-priced options that make this camera not a very good deal. If you're looking at this one, I suggest you keep lookling.

picture quality of photos is not very clear, video ...
picture quality of photos is not very clear, video is clear but the sound recording is not, you have to be close enough to record any sounds.you cannot delete off the camera itself, you need to delete on your computer. no instructions manual.hard to find mini hdmi cord since it did not come with it or did not give an option to order.

Great value.
Wonderful value for money, the wide angle lens does distort the video picture though......Battery is not replaceable, so battery life is a concern when using it.

Great camera for the price
My son loves it. It does seem to be kind of finicky on which memory you use, but when it does have the right memory in it the videos are super sharp and look really, really good.
