Natural and Nutritional Dry Food For Adult Dogs
This dry food has a list of ingredients as long as a dog's lead but further investigation revealed that the majority of them were natural or extracts from natural ingredients. I was a little disappointed that the percentage of salt wasn't indicated on the packaging when those for carrot, flaxseed and peppermint were as high blood pressure in some dogs can lead to an increased risk of strokes. I was, however, pleased to see that Glucosamine has been added; this helps to keep joints supple and decreases the risk of arthritis in adult dogs. My willing guinea pig - a lively mastiff cross - was apprehensive at first, sniffing at the bowl before plunging muzzle first into it and devouring every piece. Like all dry foods it is important to have fresh water readily available for the dog during and after his meal.

Great
This is a lovely food for your dog.I have been using it for a while now, and it is brilliant quality. It has a nice smell, and is made of real, healthy ingredients. I have one hyper, slightly crazy dog, and one lazy one and they both love the food.It has not caused any stomach upsets, and in fact I think it has made them a bit more in sync.Very happy.

Not sure.
My dog is a bit unsure about this, he ate the first serving I gave him but lately he seems to be fussy. He does eat it but takes his time . I can't help thinking he does not like the small kibble and perhaps this would be better if it was slightly larger .Anyway, I will see how he gets on with it .

Good dog food packed full of extras!
This dog food is a mid range product pretty similar to what we already feed our 4 year old Jack Russell cross. Its a bit higher in protein than other brands and the recommended amount to give for his weight is about 50-80 grams less per day, so it will go further. The pellets are small flattish round discs which look a natural brown and not full of artificial colourants. It also contains added herbs such as dandelion and peppermint (and many others!). I cant say I notice any difference in my dogs breath or bowel habits as a result, but he definitely likes it! He wolfs it down in seconds and then licks the bowl furiously. So all in all a good choice at a reasonable price.

Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme - yes they are all in there! Yucca too.
Precept dog food arrives in an attractive pouch decorated with pretty pansies and daffodils - confusingly it looks a bit like a small bag of compost. To use cut off the carrying handle, and pull open the sealing strip. The small brown button sized circular biscuits are rather like cheerios for dogs. As with Polos, they all have a little hole in the middle. The ingredients are kind of exotic - Cranberries, Dandelions, Rosemary and Peppermint - as well as the more believable chicken fat, carrots, carbohydrates. Nature certainly would be surprised at the uses her bounty has been put to.Nevertheless my springers, who are now awfully keen on the postman, owing to recent vine offerings for 'Moderately Active Adult dogs' such as this foundation formula, eagerly chomped it all down. As I write this they are worrying at the bag.So it passes the taste test. Hopefully the peppermint will freshen their breath. I suppose Cranberries and Dandelions might compete with each other for diuretic purposes. The glucosamine will oil their joints. The thought of 'chicken meal' brings to mind the debris from a chicken factory.Being made without Wheat and Corn may be important to owners who know that such things are bad for their pets. Personally I would rather see a shorter list of more recipe like ingredients rather than a biology textbook. But I am not the one to eat it.

Good choice among many
This product is a good choice among the many that are available.Every time I shop for dog food I am confronted with a multitude of choices regarding this genre of dog food. For the same quantity of product the costs vary from around £8 to £26. I am not altogether sure what the real differences are and of course I have no intention of trying them personally to see which I prefer! I have to rely on my dog's ability to make a "choice".I do not have a greedy dog. Any dog food put in front of say a Labrador would last a few seconds. My dog only eats when hungry, would much sooner eat what we eat and will hold out (mostly in vain) in the hope of getting what we have. So a bowl topped up in the morning may still be uneaten late at night. I therefore have a slender yardstick to use in gauging what is and is not popular with my dog. Some foods are only eaten reluctantly, some are eaten enthusiastically for a few days and then become less interesting. This particular brand seems as popular as any she has had. It is at a good price and I would buy more.

Well-received dog food. Doesn't stink out the kitchen in any measure (or direction). No leftovers either, which is my only means of judging whether or not this is good for the doggie!

Tasty and good quality
Our dog thinks this is a tasty food and was very keen to try it!It's a good quality food that is high in protein content (24% crude protein) and does not contain cheap fillers such as wheat or corn. It also has added glucosamine and chrondroitin. These added ingredients are excellent for our dog who has had osteoarthritis in one of her joints which required a great deal of surgery. We are very protective of her other joints and have ensured that she has supplements which may help protect her from other arthritic problems. This food is a little more expensive that some other brands that we have used, but the protein content is higher and the dog is much less fussy about eating this food.
