Best pool thermometer I’ve had - can even read clear dial without my glasses!

The concept is great. Read a pool thermometer whilst standing by the pool.The quality of the manufacture is so bad. My first one leaked within four months. I thought I was just unlucky, so I ordered another for the year. The same thing happened , it leaked and with condensation it is difficult to read.As it is a pool item , surely the manufacturer should ensure the acrylic dome which houses the dial is fully waterproof?

It shows the correct temperature and reacts quickly to changes. Bought to replace a previous model which lasted over 10 years of being left in the pool each summer. This is working well and looks as robust

Very good. Doesn't need batteries or any of that nonsense, so nothing that can go wrong or break, just put it in the pool.

The product rusted and stopped working with a month of purchase.

In the past I favoured the electronic versions of these floating thermometers but they simply don't last and leak. This one, on the other hand is accurate very easy to read and I can leave it on my skimmer cover which has an access hole through which the measuring probe, which is about 300mm long, goes and into the water too so one can read the temperature even when the pool is covered (Our cover completely seals the pool). As to longevity, one will have to wait and see but I've got high hopes

Very disappointed in this product, it looked good, easy to read and to identify in the pool but within a couple of days, water had got into the gauge, obscuring the reading and then it steamed up making it impossible to read. A real shame.
