Brief manual about Running a Hotel
It is an interesting and fast paced reading. Tries to cover every aspect of running a hotel. So it is not detailed and it is not for the experienced professional. Some tips are also outdated. It is great though for the newcomers to get an idea about how things work.

not practical tips but good philosophy
Great read about a mans life through the hospitality industry. Starting as a desk clerk, all the way through to being owner and operator of huge resorts. Very easy to read, even the beginning where he is explaining how to plan and build a resort (something i can never imagine myself doing). But alot of his message boils down to 'work hard, common sense, and try to enjoy'

Dreadful Download!
The text of this book is very entertaining but the Kindle download was almost unreadable. There were abrupt changes in font, italicisation, pages of blurry completely unreadable text, some pages of random characters and words split and hyphenated in the st-rang-est pla-ces.The down load to my phone was just as bad as the download to my iPad. Until Amazon/Kindle do something with the download file, do not waste your money on this book.
