Nativity 19 Piece Play Set

I looked at lots of different wooden nativity sets suitable for my children to look at and play a little with without fear of it breaking. I have 3 children under 4 years old. I also wanted some friendly looking figures!! Although the paint job isnt quite as good as the picture it's not far off, that would be my only negative. This is fantastic I'm so glad I got this one. Excellent quality and sturdy, figures are even better than happyland which are always good. The stable is hard plastic rather than a rubbery plastic of the figures but its well made and unless sat on I think it will last.comes with a little leaflet and mini book too (the 19th item). My daughter has already run off with it to play in her room. An excellent interactive toy for learning the nativity for you children. Well worth the money I paid for it.

The stable is made from the harder type of plastic so by a particually rough child, could be broken if they didn't take care and stood on it or something. I would have given this set five stars but marked it down on because of the fact that the star is not removable from the stable, I think that would have given more play value as the wise men followed the star. Also, if you read your Bible, the wise men never went the stable, they visited elsewhere when he was a little older! The star is also made of the same tough rubbery plastic that the figures are made from and the top of it was bent slightly. although, you can straighten the star if you repeatedly bend it back into position.All in all though, this is a very good set and I would highly recommend buying it. It comes in a cardboard box so you can pack it away when the child is not playing with it. :o)

I purchased this set for my daughter (nearly 4) as a gift to open on Christmas Eve. She loves it and enjoys using the characters to retell the nativity story. I also got a cheap nativity board book for young children and she likes recreating the scenes on each page. The characters are a lovely size (though 'baby' Jesus would have made Mary's eyes water as he's rather on the large size!) and the animals expressions are great. Would recommend

Very expensive, yet they look cheaply made. I bought this set for my daughter to play with at Christmas time, also to double up as a christmas decoration. Figures do not look like they do in the picture. The paint has run on them. Some of the figures are discoloured (blue faces etc). Donkeys' and camel's legs are bent so they do not stand up very well. Very frustrating for a young child. I'm not impressed. These took a long time to arrive as they came from Australia (I wasn't aware of this when I ordered them). Over half of the price I paid was spent on shipping, so I really did not want to spend more money returning them. Such a shame!

Some strange looking figures

A really lovely set, so much better than what I was expecting! The pieces are of good quality and ideal for kids to play with or just simply use as a Christmas decoration!

delivered quickly and excellent quality and play value, nice handle-able size. Figures about 3 inches high. Well detailed and painted (no paint runs as someone said). Scriptural background to story included. We are really pleased for it for our 2 1/2yr old granddaughter to play with at our house.

We bought ours back in 2014 and loved it. Our then 3 year old has played with it every Advent. Unfortunately, Baby Jesus was mauled by a visiting dog this year and is decidedly worse for wear. Is there any chance that we can get hold of another?Please help. Thank you!
