I am not sure if I understand you question correctly. This product is an oxidizer so it is not recommended to use it for darkening your hair. However if you would like to go from brunett/black into platinum blonde I would highly recomend you to contact a hairdresser before buying any oxidizer because while changing the color of your hair, the last thing you want to achieve is burning them. Hairdresser should check the condiction of your hair and recommend you best prefered volume of oxidizer percentage that would gradually light up your hair color without damaging your hair health.

Q: I have very stubborn dark brown hair and usually have to use a 40% Vol which kills my hair. Would the 30% give enough lift to platinum tone?

I have dark brown hair and I love this product. For platinum I use 30% however I do the bleaching in two goes, plus use toner. I used other products before but this lifts much better and the hair quality stays better. With the Kerastase milk its a winner :)

Q: Can this be used with any toner ?

You will need the 2% 7vol bottle for a toner 6% is far to strong and used for bleaching and lifting the hair not depositing tone.

Got a super light lift! 30 vol left on for 35 mins and got a lovely light ash blonde highlight!

This works how it's supposed to.

I used this with the blondme powder bleach, and also added olaplex to help keep damage tona minimal, this got me to the level lightness I wanted before applying a hair dye with a lower level 10 developer, this 30 blondeme developer works hand in had with the bleach really well, and also works very fast,Remeber bleach and developer help to get the lightness you want not the colour, please dont expect to go from brown to platinum using just a bleach and developer combo.The product works as it should and i only recommend using a bonding oil like olaplex with it to reduce any damage and dryness caused by bleaching.
