BabyDan Configure (Large, White)

I found this easy to fill my odd shaped, large stepped entrance to the living area.My gap was just over 2 meters wide and the gate was really easy to install.The gate clasp is sometimes a little hard to undo and close with one hand which is a pain if you are carrying the baby. Overall the gate does what i need it to do, stop the inquisitive younger from falling down the steps, but it does feel a little thin/ light especially when the 11mth old stands up, grabs it and shakes it like a prisoner trying to escape.....

Little did we know when we bought this,that we would be dealing with houdini of the puppy kind. Superman would be proud of the flying our 5 month old staffie can do over this. Having said that, we lucked out with the 6 year old who hasnt figured it out yet, and it seals him in nicely in the living room where he's locked away from mischeif.Gate is sturdy and is easy to fit. We bought it initially to protect the xmas tree,but now it stops the 6 year old from going in the garden while dog flys past with a grin on her face. Were happy with it and would certainly buy again.

The gate mechanism is a bit stiff and suffers as the end you lift is tethered to a point that is not anchored to the wall and hence when you pull up there is some lift. Having said that it does do the job we need it to (covering stair entrance where we have a side lip to the bottom 3 steps) to but I wouldn’t pay £60 again for this to be honest

For the price we are very disappointed. The gate was a nightmare to assemble, the catch on the gate itself is tricky to work and often end up stepping over with baby in arms as it's so fiddly. Once installed the gate itself doesn't feel that sturdy. Unfortunately don't have time to send it back and order something else due to work starting on our house. Don't buy!

The brackets looked a little brittle when I assembled this but both our toddler and lab has rattled it vigorously and put a lot of weight on it, as well as the usual accidental kicks and punts it’s received while adults are stepping over it. Very useful and highly recommended.Ended up using in multiple configurations and even dropping out one of the panels, it’s very versatile.

This was just what we needed for when the grandchildren come to stay. We have a wide staircase and wanted something for occasional use. The wall brackets are screwed to the wall and we are happy to leave these in place. The gate can be removed from the wall brackets and stored away very easily.My only problem was assembling the gate. The diagrams were too small, but eventually I figured it out.

This looks nice but isn't strong at all. The fastening lock is very hard to use and takes time to open and lock. My baby could nearly pull this gate apart so had to get a refund.

So I got this one with amazon warehouse in a very good condition and It was actually in perfect order...nothing missing and all very clean and looked as though the person before opened it and closed it straight up. Fitted to the wall very well, very easy to put together and a very nice item. Though I feel like the middle section where the gate is, could be more secure using braces on the top or on the floor has it does wobble a little.

well made product, easy to assemble, a slight pain to fix to the wall as the fixing holes are behind the part that fixes to the wall, and no rawl plugs included or enough screws to correctly fix to the wall

Bought this to divide our kitchen and really helped keep our new puppy under control. Delivered quick and a good sturdy gate, easy to put together.Bare in mind that if you follow the instructions this shouldn't be put up with any section straight. It gets some strength from its shape as in the picture. I'm sure it would work straight but maybe a bit more wobbly then.

There are barely any assembly involved in it; assembly, width adjustment and installation took me just over 30 minutes. The result is an easy to use gate that looks good and most importantly is sturdy enough to keep a baby or toddler where you want them (in my case out of my kitchen, in the living room).One of the things I didn't realise, and I'm most happy about, is that you can easily remove and reinstall the entire gate whenever you want by clicking it in and out from the wall attachments. It took me a minute to do.

Perfect to section off our open dining area from the living area to help our house cats have retreat space from our big, eager puppy! Easy to fit using the pictorial instructions and the adjustments were a breeze to make. Really good quality system and doing the job perfectly. Sorry, pup - this gate system has ensured the cat tray buffet is now closed!

This gate is really good, simple mechanism for my wife with tendinitis, and very low cross bar means no trips. The wall attachments are simple to use and the gate is pretty robust. It's not been full toddlered yet, but given the massive size there is play in it, not sure how manufacturer could possibly do it any other way though, but worth being aware this is not going to be rigid like your stair gate is.

Good sturdy gate. Keeps 1 year old twins out of kitchen. Can protrude into the room if too big for the doorway which can take up a bit of space but other than that a great product

Sturdy gate. Much easier to assemble than what the instructions make you think. Arrived promptly. The wall attachments could be of better quality as they are plastic and they do feel a bit flimsy and not as substantial as the rest of the gate. But I suppose time will tell if they last. Good that you can extend the gate with additional parts to suit your needs.
