Works great! The loops on the bulbs were incredibly helpful for getting it up. The lights themselves are pretty good, the brightness is low so it definitely sets the outdoor mood. Pretty solid cord so I don’t have much worry about it breaking.

Customer service gets 5 billion starts! Bought and hung lights. A few days later they would not turn on. I contacted customer service by email. They replied immediately. Asked some troubleshooting questions to get to the bottom of what was wrong. Corresponded over email multiple times with William R and he was relentless making sure everything worked correctly and that I was satisfied. I was so happy with the lights that I ended up buying an additional strand to hang! They look beautiful and I love the remote control with timing options. They make my backyard look amazing, but I love the fact that I bought from a company that cares about their customers and their product performance.

The Addlon brand's "50FT LED Outdoor String Lights with Edison Shatterproof Bulbs" are a set of 15 bulbs on a 50-foot black cable. They are easy to install, weatherproof, and come with a vendor's warranty. They are available in a variety of wire lengths and bulb densities, but be aware of the line lead length and that you have easy access to an outdoor outlet. You may need an outdoor extension cord. The bulbs are very bright on first install. A natural warm-white at 2680 degrees Kelvin. Lumen output is higher than expected at nearly 225 lumens per bulb at full brightness while consuming about one watt of power. That's very efficient. I paired my set with a WiFi dimmer with sunset to sunrise astronomical timing. The bulbs dim to a very low setting, and I have the dimmer set to turn them on at sunset at 1 percent and increase the brightness to 75 percent over 20 minutes. This is a very natural transition and imperceptible through the twilight time, and with an astronomical dimmer, the turn-on and turn-off times automatically adjust as the sunset does throughout the year. A well-written instruction manual is enclosed. Be sure to read it and ensure that your installation is correct for outdoor / wet environments. Very pleased with the lights -- the only concern is that the mounting hole on the top of each fixture is very small, so you will need a small attachment screw or hook to match. The outer bulb cover is plastic and can be easily cleaned as needed. One extra bulb, cover, and fuse included in the offer. Also, the wire and fixture is only available in black -- may be nice to have white and green wires. Pros: Easy to install Bright light Water resistant Durable shatterproof bulbs Warm white color Good value for money Dimmer compatible (with separate dimmer switch) Three-year vendor's warranty. Cons: Can be tangled upon arrival (but easy to untangle) May be too bright for some users (consider a WiFi dimmer with an astronomical sunset / sunrise setting to match local sunset and sunrise times). General: I recommend buying hanging hooks with spring clasps to secure the lights in windy conditions.

Nice lighting and build quality. However did not know nor see any specifications that they changed the design from regular fuse type christmas plug, to low voltage with adapter. Does not allow closure of most in use covers, already have outlet up on post where lights are attached, nor can plug in additional regular existing light strand on other end. Clarification in this would have been great as now I have to redesign, add and replace stuff to get this to work properly in my layout. No fault in the lights themselves. Definitely could have been something to mention though as I would have chosen a different type instead.

Good product and good remote. I have ordered two sets to cover two locations. My first set is still working after several months of use. New set is to replace a different manufacturers product that died within weeks and can't be fixed. Best part is both sets work off the same remote and I can control them as one to light up both locations in my back yard. Nice warm light, not over powering light even at full brightness. Great ambiance for backyard.

These lights are fantastic. I bought a couple sets, one for our screened in porch and the other for a firepit project I just completed. They're bright enough to give off some ambient light but not too bright that they'll blind you at night and ruin the mood. LEDs will last forever as long as you can keep water out of them. I live where we get all 4 seasons: freezing temperatures, snow and ice along with rainy spring seasons and hot, humid summers - so time will tell how they hold up. The bulb housings are plastic so they should be durable long term and you don't have to worry about breaking them. Each set come with a couple spare LED bulbs and housings which is a nice touch, be sure to hold on to those. 50ft are going for $27 right now with a 30% off coupon, I can't find anything negative about these and for the price if I had to replace them every couple years I wouldn't be too upset about it. The ones on the porch are connected to a remote switch that I can control from inside, and the ones over the firepit are plugged into a dusk/dawn sensor to come on every night. I ran wire in conduit up the side of the post to an outlet so that way I didn't have the bulbs running down the side of the post making it look tacky. There isn't a huge distance between where your plug is and where the first light starts, so take that into consideration for your project. You'd want to avoid using extension cords in a situation like this as that's just another spot for water ingress. These make for great ambient lighting next to our pool and give off enough light to keep people from tripping on stuff in the yard. This is such a simple project that will make a world of difference to your entertaining space, guests will absolutely love these and want to pick up a set for their place.

lights are attractive and good quality....except the bulbs. Got maybe 100 hours out of bulbs that should last 20k hour ++. Yes, I leave them up year round but temps are well within what the manufacturer gives as guidelines. Turned on for first time this year and have 7 bulbs out.
