A fun set for the young
The Learning Resources Sensory Trio Fidget Tubes arrive in mixed cardboard/plastic packaging - suitable for a gift.The pack has CE and UKCA marks printed on the back which confirms that the product conforms to UK and EU standards. Personally, I would like to see a RoHS mark as well on the product to confirm that there are no hazardous substances - but this is absent.There are three tubes - an hourglass with sand that takes a few seconds to pour through with a calming sound, glitter in a liquid that fills the tube with brightness and happy smiley faces, and beads down a ramp making a clunky noise- the top also twists and clicks.All the tubes are the correct size for 3+ and I am certain younger sibs will play with them as well.Overall a fun set - happy to recommend.

Simple, but Effective Sensory Toys
These "Learning Resources Sensory Trio Fidget Tubes" are amongst some of the best products we have recently received from the brand, and even though they are based on a fairly simple concept, they really are quite effective, especially with regards to holding a toddler's fascination. The product has an age group of 3+ on the packaging, which obviously applies to the contents of each tube (sand, glitter, and tiny plastic balls), so if you are considering purchasing the product for a child younger than 3 years old, 100% supervision will definitely be required at all times.One other thing to be aware of is that it does not state what the liquid within one tube consists of, but judging by the consistency, it appears to be similar to the liquid used for Snow Globes. However, do bear in mind that even though the liquid within a Snow Globe consists of water with a small percentage of Glycerine (a non-toxic substance), some also contain a certain type of antifreeze.
