Sometimes life deals you some hard blows and having gone through tough times herself, author Lysa TerKeurst has written a beautiful and compassionate devotional to give the reader hope in navigating these rough waters. Each devotional is consise and to the point with the author's own experience with certain issues, scripture, special prayers, and different topics each day . . . morning and evening. I don't typically read nonfiction except for an occasional devotional, but I plan on reading more of Lysa TerKeurst's encouraging books.

This devotional by Lysa TerKeurst is vulnerable and inspiring. It has a morning and evening devotional to read each day. It is filled with scripture and isn’t just to “hype you up” for your day. Each day it also has some space where you can reflect on your day and write something to release back to God! This devotional would be a great gift to a friend who is going through a season of struggle or a great purchase for yourself. Plus the design aesthetics are very lovely!

I love this book! The morning and evening divides are so nice plus it puts into words a lot of things you can’t quite formulate on your own. 10/10

Definitely felt a lightness and renewed hope in God after this! The AM and PM aspect made a difference versus just reading one time a day.Changed my perspective to gratitude, that there is still beauty around, and that through it all I can have a soft heart and that God is in control and has a perfect plan in an imperfect reality! Would defined recommend and it’s the kind of book to give to someone as a gift just because if they’re in a heavy season.

If you are going thru very tough time in your life under any circumstances this book is for you. Daily devotions of the experience of Lysa TerKeurst the author that I could relate to in almost every day🙏 she is an amazing lady who didn't deserve what she went thru but is surviving and now sharing with us.

There are plenty of highlight worthy quotes in this book. If you're going through a tough time, read this book. Do the daily prayers. Open yourself up to healing. You're going to make it!

This devotional is well written & easy to keep up with daily. It gives me something to look forward to before work as well before I go to sleep at night. 🩵 this devotional gives me a sense of peace, after struggling with aniexty and worry for so long it has began to teach me, everything is God’s plan & in God’s timing.
