Abracadabra Cello, Pupil's book: The way to learn through songs and tunes (Abracadabra Strings)

This is a really good book for cello beginners. It’s helped me to learn how to read music which I initially found really hard. I could really see progress with this book. It’s got 88 pieces of music so it’s really good value for money, and it has some well known tunes so I found it really rewarding and fun. I would highly recommend for cello beginners.I hope that everyone reading this has a good day 😊

This is a really excellent book, very clear and easy to follow. As an ADULT cello beginner I have found this very useful (and not too "young" for me, but fun, with tunes that you'll know - so you know how they SHOULD sound). It gets you started and, rather usefully, gives you a concise guide to what you have learned at the end - useful for reference. My suggestion would be, that if you can "run to it", you should purchase the version with the CDs. It saves your teacher having to record their version of the acompaniments for you! An excellent adult book, and very good for children too I would imagine!!!!!

Good value- saw same book elsewhere but without cds at a higher price

Not the easiest of guides ....not great as a self teach support guide.

Beginners book for cello, perfect for those who haven't read music before and are at first stages of learning to play the cello.
