Best oil you can buy
This oil is designed and formulated for 1998-2002 porsche 911's.With the precision built motors like on a 911 this oil can't be beat.To spend a little more for this oil is cheap compared to repairing a damaged engine due to poor engine lubrication ,as a replacement engine will easily run $20,000 and up for a 911. After monitoring and inspecting the engine operation there is very little wear found after using an oil analysis company reporting my oil is keeping engine wear to nothing. If you drive like an old lady or a race car driver you can't go wrong with this product.

Use this for track days!
If you're running a track day on your street water-cooled Porsche, this is the right stuff to use.Change it after the weekend is over, regardless of the miles you put on the oil. New Porsche engines cost A LOT, so don't be stingy here. Just do it. No matter what oil you use, the additives degrade quick with very high engine oil temp, so when you get home, change it.I use Joe Gibbs 5-40 all summer in my car as well. For winter, if you drive it in winter, use 0W40.

Worth the added cost
With today's longer oil change intervals what are you doing; one oil change a year with quality synthetic oil.Spend the couple a bucks more ($3 qt. x 8 = $24) once a year and get super oil.My Porsche loves it.I change my own oil and filter for $100 and a half hours time instead of $250-300 the dealer gets. But they wash the car. I always pay $200 for a car wash; don't you. NOT

Best stuff on the market for race cars
My engine highly recomends this, I run only Joe Gibbs DT40 in my 550whp Lancer Evolution and meticulously change the oil every 2000 miles (I drag race and autocross several times a month.) This oil is the best stuff I found through research on actual race engines. I on the other hand would not run it in my daily due to not needing the extra performance. Best stuff on the market hands down. Very fast shipping

Killer product.
High quality oil for people who have different tolerances from factory specs on their engine. Best suited for built engines. Product takes a long time to breakdown, compared to other synthetics. I also have turbos and the oil exceeds anything else I have used.

Great Oil!
Shipped fast. Installed in a 2001 Boxster S and I have about 400 miles on the oil. The engine runs great and I have noticed less engine noise at startup. I used to have a timing chain noise for about 1-2 seconds at startup and this is now gone. Maybe better lubrication to the chain tensioners? I will need more time to fully tell.
