Hamster Wheel

I am quite happy with this wheel, even though I was overwhelmed by the size of the overall wheel. The base makes it far bigger than any other 12" wheel I have purchased in the past, but its heavy weight also means it will not tip over easily. What I loved most about it is that it is well-made and very quiet. Installation was also very easy and it was easy to adjust for my two large gerbils. Overall, it is a good value for the money, especially since it seems like it is built to last (something I have never had with a rodent wheel).

My first wheel that I received was broken in transit but the seller quickly responded and exchanged it. The wheel is such good quality and looks so much more expensive than it is. It’s easy to clean and is already put together when you receive it! The only complaint I have is that the inside piece underneath the wooden screw can loosen and begin to squeak, but it’s easy to tighten by hand and fix within a minute or two! When fixed it is completely silent! It’s so silent that you can’t even tell it’s spinning until you touch it. No other complaints! I recommend trying it out. It is a BIG wheel!

We had a cheaper wheel that our gerbil literally chewed to pieces and broke apart. We picked this wheel because it didn't look like there were any edges that would be easy to chew up. It was easy to put together, and it doesn't wobble at all under the weight of our fairly large gerbil. There is a bit of a thudding noise as he runs on it (think of your coworker lightly drumming on the desk with his fingertips) but I'm guessing this is more from the weight of the gerbil than anything to do with the wheel. Our family found it pretty easy to get used to, even overnight. But if you're super sensitive to noise, I could see how it might be an issue. But after 1 month, there is still no squeaking and our little guy isn't chewing this one up. So we're happy customers.

I think this wheel is the most well-built one I have ever seen, and I've seen/tried a lot of them. It's solid, heavy, and has extremely smooth and quiet bearings. There are a lot of other features I like too - it's adjustable, has a running surface that would be easy to quickly wipe down, and one of the best things ever: a running surface that actually mimics flat ground (not curved or angled). One thing I don't like about it is that it won't attach to a cage, but that's just my personal preference. The main thing I dislike is that you have to remove the entire wheel and stand if you want to clean it really well (beyond just wiping it down). Even then I think you'd have to still be careful about the bearings. If your critters use the wheel as a toilet as frequently as mine do, I think it could become a real pain in the neck to keep it really clean. For a lot of people, this wheel would be perfect. I would definitely recommend it if the things I mentioned above work for you. Note: if you have mice the 10.2 inch wheel would be too heavy for them to turn.

Better than niteangel. Squeaks when bedding is under wheel which i just move and it goes quiet unlike niteangel where the squeaking doesn't stop when I adjust it. Good quality and sturdy.

First-time hamster owner. Was not sure what to get, but all of the items I purchased worked out perfectly. Was just about the exact measurements. Would purchase this item again for a dwarf hamster. I decided to purchase a Zoo Med Naturalistic Front Opening Terrarium from Petsmart for $149. The measurements of the terrarium are 13.5"L x 31.5"W x 17.5"H. Hopefully, this will give someone an idea of the items purchased from Amazon. This hamster wheel cannot be heard at all. Other than you can occasionally hear the hamsters little claws as they stop. The wheel itself is really great. Worth adding to a dwarf hamster cage. I am super glad I purchased this one after reading several reviews of other hamster wheels.

Extrem schönes und leises Rad! 👍👍👌💚 Hochwertig verarbeitet und vermutlich auch sein Geld wert. Aber : Leider ziemlich kostspielig! Besonders das große 32cm Rad für 55+ Euro ist definitiv eine Anschaffung, die überlegt sein will. Andererseits kauft man hier einmal und hat dann erstmal Ruhe, da es sich im Gegensatz zu Holzrädern gut reinigen lässt.

I have to say this is a very good quality wheel just by looking at its structure with a bearing, that makes it perfectly silent and smooth! My hamster likes it so much!

This wheel is very good it is completely silent and it looks good in a cage however i do wish i was a bit bigger its big enough for my mice but i wouldn't by it for anything bigger (video for size) it does not have a stand you HAVE to attach it to a cage or smth like that would buy again

Have tried many different size of wheels in my Syrian hamster cage but this one fits the best and is of very good quality. The only thing is she doesn't seem to go in it very much. When I bought her from the pet shop they said it was best to put a wheel in the cage, but again as it is such a good silent wheel she may use it of a night when it spins silently. Good strong wheel.
