Perfect for holding a Shure mv7x
I open the box and started to put pieces together, everything worked, it hold the mic. The only thing it didn't work on my desk so I'll have to return it and get an stand up mic holder instead. For me it wasn't stable cause it didn't fit my desk which has some wood decore on the sides of all table. Thank you

Stiff, not the best Mic attachement
Very stiff movement and the mic attachment seems to always be loose with the slightest adjustments to turn our mic. Using this with the Shure SM7B and it holds the weight of the mic just fine, but I would look into something with more flexibility and stability for such an expensive microphone.

Super mic!
This mic is very sturdy and well built and sounds great but you do need a preamp. Which is also inexpensive.

Very flimsy
This boom is a good as a soggy potato chip. It is mediocre and has difficulty handling my shure Mic.The clamp has to be adjusted before use as it will just fall off. I would not purchase this boom again.
