Exceeded my expectation. My previous solar fountain ran dry and burned out (as did the one before that). This one has a protective feature that will make it hopefully last much longer. The pump is stronger than the one I was replacing and I love it. The pump pushes more water that ever before. The solar panel is larger and is able to make the pump run on a cloudy day.

This worked great, even in low sunlight. Until 22 days after the return window closed, it stopped working although it is in full sun and there is nothing blocking the pump. Not worth the money unless you want something for a short period of time.REVISED REVIEW:I should have noted that I followed the directions and tried everything recommended but the pump didn't work. I had intended to update this review to note that a few days later the pump started working again for no apparent reason. Work as advertised

The fountain works well with a nice water flow but it is much smaller than I expected. I have a small goldfish pond and since the description mentioned it was for small ponds I thought it would be a nice addition. This is actually more suited for a large birdbath or kids swimming pool. I had to place the fountain on a ledge in order for the top to be above water. They do not want it sitting on the bottom of the pool so I am going to have to find something that the suction cups will attach to in order to raise it off the ledge. You have to get something for it to stick on top or it will float and send water every which way. The manual is practically useless. I have parts that are not shown in the manual and not sure what they are for. 2 of the flow caps are the same design. There is no battery so when the sun goes down the fountain stops but that was mentioned in the description.

Love it. It's perfect for a small fountain or bird bath.

I have had this out for three days and it’s working perfectly.

I thought it had a battery. It only works in direct sunlight and will not work at night
