Are these better than the howard leight max earplugs?

I don't know those. However, the Flents are by far the best I've used. Ever. I've tried most available over the counter plugs and I always use the Flents as a benchmark.

I don't have any issues with them being uncomfortable when I'm sleeping on my side.

These are the best ear plugs I have ever found for cancelling out noise. They are not infallible but work except in the most extreme circumstances

Change for the Worse

Oh Flent's what have you done. These have been my go to earplugs for over 10yr after discovering them on a US work trip and have always worked perfectly blocking out my partners snoring, road noise and the neighbours dog.Ordered my latest set and noticed that the product has changed to a new softer formula. These plugs now no longer block out as much noise as previous version and are really uncomfortable. Never had any prior issues with comfort, now after persevering for 2 weeks my ear canals are really sore and find myself waking at night due to the pain caused by these new formula plugs.Wont be buying again. Doing research now into new earplugs to re-establish a peaceful nights sleep

Find it is more comfortable than those U shape. And it's can block more sound than silicone type. But I still only can use silicone type to sleep, will use fleets for study.

They used to be great and very comfortable, but unfortunately, they changed the material recently and the new material make my ears quite painful during the night.UpdateAfter wearing them for a few weeks, they don't feel as painful, I guess some time is needed to get used to the new material.

Excellent

I live in a university dorm with quite heavy doors, but these do the job perfectly. Just make sure to put them in as instructed so they block out most amount of noise

Inadequate

Unfortunately these earplugs (Flents Protechs Quiet Please Soft with the blue bar Now SOFTER for more comfort!”) are very painful - they seem softer (and advertised as such) than the previous model / other “square-type” earplugs but they actually exert so much more pressure in the ear canal that they are not wearable at all. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but (a) this product is NOT REFUNDABLE and is quite pricey (~ £26) so thought I should warn other potential buyers, and (b) I’m hoping the brand will go back to the previous formula (or at least offer the option to buy the previous model).
