Magnetize-It! Magnetic Paint & Primer (Water Based) - Standard "S" Yield 16oz (MISTD-1998)

Like a lot of other reviews say, follow directions and don't expect it to be like a metal plate.It is very very thick. Mixing it up took time but was well worth it. But once I started rolling it on it was easy breezy. One thing I would watch out for would be clumping, but I was painting in low light so had difficulty with that.Now that it's done I've got magnetic picture holders and even a home sweet home sign that I stuck a magnet to on it and they are all holding up great. My girly has had lots of fun arranging her cousins pictures.

Did not provide an intense magnetic pull however does hold light weight items like photos very well. Which was it's intended purpose 👍🏻

I had to order 2 cans because after doing 4 coats with the 1st can, it did not work. I applied 2 more coats and it barely holds a light magnet. It doesn’t hold pictures or average refrigerator magnets.

Used this to update my wall calendar board for the kids. I had used another brand of magnet paint a couple years back and it didn’t hold up as well as planned. I followed the directions and put the max amount of layers as noted on the directions. It went on easy with a foam roller. It was thick in the container but that seems to be the norm for this type of paint. It holds light to medium sized magnets well but not magnet baskets which is understandable. I put a layer of chalkboard paint over top and it’s perfect!
