Great mic - Came nicely boxed- I looked online as to how to set it up with my Mac book pro & it was really easy.Have done some vocal recording- lovely clean & warm sound. Can record other instruments in to it. Great sound. True reproduction. You can add plugins - affects after recording. Highly recommend 👍

This is a beautiful sounding microphone and I use it daily for my Radio/podcast shows as I like the sound of it so much, it is also unique in that you can also instead of connecting to and XLR socket you can connect it to a USB-C socket too. A double winner and make it extremely versatile also! It comes with a couple of excellent mad cables, one USB-C and one XLR also a SM6 shock mount which is also excellent and works brilliantly! I can highly recommend this to buy if you are in the market for such a microphone.DJ Steve

This mic is truly beautiful. The first thing you're going to want to do, however, is turn off all the compression and noise reduction stuff for day to day chatting. It really doesn't work well with apps like discord.Those features are much better utilised when voice recording to get a clean, noise-free recording with the post processing you want already done to save time.

This product is ok for beginners , I never owned a professional mic before so setting up everything was a little struggle . would recommend for more experienced musicians

Not the smooth great sound I was expecting. Have tried it on USB and XLR but same issue, it's maybe a bit oversensitive and has some tinny overtones. All processable of course but with a decent mic you'd expect not to have to use loads of EQ.

This microphone is next level from using a headset.Very dynamic sound.Great value for money and quick delivery

I thought I would get a brand new product but was sent a mic bent at the top. I also suspect that it was also used because as I opened the package there is only one seal. And inside had dirt and some kind of blue ink (I tried to circling but doesn’t show much in photos but there is a blue residue). I expected a brand new product but instead got a used and bent mic. I am very disappointed.

The quality of the mic is AMAZING first of all. Hardly any white noise when I listen to the monitoring function on my GarageBand. I had a blue yeti, and that broke on me after less than 10 uses. I have a portable tascam as well, but was unsatisfied with the amount of white noise it picks up. The Rode NT1 5th gen mic is perfect for ASMR, which is what I record with it. I have made plenty of recordings so far and all sound clear and crisp. I also love the USBc function, as I don’t have or want to get an audio interface. It plugs right into the device I’m recording on, as long as I have a USBc port or adapter. I am surprised this mic is not more expensive. I definitely recommend it! (In the picture I have it set up on a microphone stand, which I purchased separately. The mic does come with a suspender to attach to a stand… not pictured in my photo but still great)
