Well Made - Not The Cheapest
I generally make my own ethernet cables but as this was a tester I figured I'd give it a go. And, well, it's very well made.Up to short lengths which 30m is, the truth is that unless you are trying to run a ship as long as the cable is fairly decent you will get a perfect signal. That being said, I've made some dodgy ones that have been less than perfect. Something I've noted more when running POE AP's over long distances and in fact I used this to do power an AP on the outside wall of my house. The cable isn't weather rated but I pulled it in some cable ducting so no issues.Anyway, what I can say is that the outside wifi has become more reliable so I'm guessing the better quality of metals used have allowed the power to be transmitted with less losses and thus a better working AP.Quality of construction is very high which is always a good thing especially as this isn't the cheapest cable. Not the most expensive either and overall the price reflects good value for money.

good ethernet cable
Ethernet Cable Cat 6a, 30m====================These are cat6a ethernet cables that support up to 10Gbps depending on what speeds your router ports can handle, or great for cctv runs with ip cameras straight to the network recorder. To be honest most home networks will likely only have 1gb ports on their modem or switches so could get away with cat 5e, although it doesn't hurt to future proof. I used these between two managed 10g switches. The cable has two ethernet rj45 plugs already crimped on. For some reason the cable is not marked as cat 6a, but is marked as 23 gauge which these typically are sized at, and it is indeed reassuringly chunky. Currently selling for 26.99

Great value and is waterproof as well
This review is for the Ethernet Cable 30m Cat6A Extra Long Internet Cable 30 meter, FTP Shielded Network Cable Compatible with Cat6/Cat5e, 550Mhz High Speed LAN Cable, RJ45 Patch Cable for Modem Switch Router Xbox PS5 (30m)£26.99 at the time of review.I got the cable but no cable clips as some other reviewers have reported and the cable was marked Cat6a unlike a few other reviews. This cable is shielded which reduces the amount of “cross-talk” which means better and more accurate data transmission. Indeed, my tests showed exactly the kind of speeds I would expect from this type of cable. The metal shielded RJ45 connectors are good with covers over them to reduce the risk of them breaking when you are inserting or removing the cable. They also make it easier to press down the clip too. Most households only have 1Gbps routers so they won’t really need the speed this cable can deliver and could do equally as well with Cat 5e, but for the small extra in price of this cable, it is well worth the future proofing you will get by using it.It is also rated as waterproof and UV resistant so would be handy for running outdoors to a garden shed or outhouse, for instance (and obviously run inside some sort of conduit).5 stars and recommend at this price which is around average for this length and quality. For me though, I am happy to recommend them because of the connectors which ae very well made and sets them above some of the competition.

Excellent just what I needed
I recently got Virgin Media broadband at home and ever since I have been using powerline adapters for my pc I was expected to get 400mbps from Virgin but after using powerline adapters, repeaters and boosters the highest I ever got was around 53mbps which is ridiculous, I am paying for 400mpbs so I would expect that. I then came to a conclusion that I would need run a ethernet cable from downstairs where the new router is all the way upstairs into my bedroom. Extremely useful for keeping along the skirting boards and reaching all the way to another room for my PC that isn't in the same room as the Router. I get the full 400mbps speed that I expect from using a shorter wire too. I then ran multiple speed tests and what can I say I was getting the full 400mbps which I was very very happy about.

Excellent
🚚 Packaging and deliveryThis cable is packaged in a resealable zip lock bag and is coiled up, held in position by metal cable ties, the cable clips are packaged in a separate smaller bag.📦 Package contents1 x 30m Cat 6a cableℹ Function and qualityThis Cat 6a cable is very suitable for both home and office use with a big advantage over the normal Cat 6 cable in that the speed and bandwidth are vastly improved offering 10Gbps up to 750mHz.The plugs are solid enough, this in turn is connected to the moulded plastic plug housing which greets the cable coming into the plug, a plastic collar is connected to the housing that surrounds the cable by about 1.0cm offering good flexibility. The plugs offered a firm connection into my devices. On my existing 2.5G home network, to test this cable I connected it to my laptop and Zyxel Multi-Gig 12-Port Unmanaged Switch which was in turn connected to my desktop PC via an existing Cat 8 cable. I transferred a 10gb file using a program called Speed Test and recorded 2033Mbps download and 1739Mbps upload. That's a good speed as my laptop and desktop won't handle anything above 1000Mbps, just goes to show that this cable will work just fine on existing networks and cater fpor those 2.5G networks also.We don't necessarily need Cat 7 or 8 cables in the home at the moment, Cat 6a is quite sufficient in providing the necessary bandwidth and speed considering that can offer 10000Mbps at 750MHz, the speed at which my latest Sky router will negotiate data is topped at 1000Mbps, it won't go any faster. This cable has a very thick outer sheath which is finished in blue, this PVC sheath will help protect the structural integrity of the finer inner cables.🤔 Conclusion:At £26.99, this cable offers a good solution for using as a permanent installation.Specifications:Connectors - RJ45Shielding - 4 pairs twistedAWG - 23Bandwidth - Up to 500MHzJacket - PVCConductor cabling - CopperSpeed - Up to 10Gbps
