Works on Linux also
Great for adding more SATA ports to your system. Works perfectly on Linux. Doesn't support boot drives (i.e. your BIOS will not see the SATA devices attached to this). Ensure your boot drives are on the on-board SATA ports.

Worked out of the box
I used this in my Proxmox setup. I use it for my Win11 VMs. I have been using 11 of the 12 ports consistently for weeks now. I haven't noticed any issues. This is more for backup so it isn't doing any heavy file sharing so i can't comment on speed.

Despues de conectarla, inmediatamente arrancó desde la tarjeta, no se necesitaron controladores adicionales ni configuraciones extra.

Works Great
Worked right out of the box on an older system running Linux (kernel 6.3.0-0.rc5). Despite a few reviews complaining it doesn't work on PCIe 2, it worked fine on my PCIe 2 system. SATA links are running at 6 Gb/s, and the PCIe link is running at its top speed, 5 GT/s. It's been running for a about a week now, stable and error free.
