These aftermarket POTS work great, they do have longer shafts so one will need to add an adjustment nut on the inside.

I buy lots of parts online. Amazon is just one of many sources. Usually I don’t have a problem with components but this batch has had a few failures and certainly more than I’m used to seeing. For example, one pot wasn’t working and it appeared the circuit wasn’t working. I had to press down on the pot for it to work. I eventually took it apart to see where the problem was. As far as I can tell, the electric contacts were off center and the wiper wasn’t making a good connection.

I bought these potentiometer to practice on my soldering skills thats all they are good for if you want excellant pots get CTS pots.

These pots are horrible. -The resistance on high doesn't even go above 200 on most of them. -The resistance fluctuates a lot when soldered wires move. -I had about 20 of them fail on me so far in a couple of hours of working on a project. -Most are covered in sticky residue. Whoever the seller is must be selling all the quality control rejects from a factory because they're all rejects. Unfortunately I bought 3 sets of these at the same time before I noticed how worthless they are. I bought other cheap ones before that worked as they should.

Good for using for a guitar with a small opening to insert the potentiometer. And you get both 500k and 250k for whatever you need.
