I have a favorite pair of boots that I've been wearing for a few years. I was walking through a big box store with a polished concrete floor when I first realized there was a major problem. I was walking quickly when something caught my eye and I tried to stop suddenly. Well...inertia kicked in and I just slid down the aisle. There was ZERO tread on the soles. The bootss weren't expensive, and I wasn't looking forward to having a professional fix done, but since they are no longer sold.....When Googling, this type of product was suggested. Since my options were to pay a small fortune to get soles replaced or eventually break something when I eventually fell, I decided to give these a try. Seriously one of the best money saving tips I've ever tried. I can now walk around without slipping and sliding.

Put these on my regular shoes to make them non-slip for work. Put them on the night before, stepped in the shoes to press the adhesive better and ensure they stuck. An hour into my shift the next day I noticed part of the pad sticking out from under my shoe. It had slid or adjusted based on my walking and now stuck out like someone sticking out their tongue at you. Then, at one point, one of the pads flopped over and was just hanging onto the bottom of my shoe for dear life. I put them on other shoes too and now the are coming loose on those too. Need stronger adhesion. Also, the make you feel like your lifted a smidge. They are thick and change the dynamic of the bottom of your shoe to the point of making them uncomfortable.

I should have read the size description and measured my shoes but I just looked at the photo they showed and thought they would fit. Not even close... even the direction of the waves are going across the length not the width as shown. After reading the reviews I don't understand why they just don't make the 10 pieces into just two and let the customers cut them to size. The thickness and quality seems excellent so I just don't get the sizing. I don't want pieced sections so I will be returning these.. have size 11 shoes standard with not wide.

You never realize the value of good tread on your shoes until you slip on a wet surface, take a dive and nearly kill yourself, which I did twice, then realized it would not have happened had I had better or at least "some" tread on my shoes. I do a lot of walking and wear out the tread on shoes every year or so, and have lots of old shoes that are perfectly good except for needing new tread. This is a great idea I wish I had thought of sooner. I will use this on lots of my old shoes and save a ton on new shoes. And as for the glue not sticking that someone mentioned in one of the reviews, a little Super Glue or Gorilla Glue would do the trick, I'm sure. And if any excess hangs over the side, it's easy to trip off.

These have essentially NO adhesion, they especially wont last on any wet ground. I wasted my money on this. I wish i could get my money back because they are completely useless.

I've used these on several pairs of dress shoes and worn each pair several times since applying them. Nothing has come loose yet, and the traction is great so far.

I work in a kitchen and wouldn’t recommend these. The product is good if there is no water or oil present( which kinda defeats the purpose lol.) They do provide more grip on dry surfaces which is why I rated it two stars.
