My auto document feeder kept jamming, making a loud noise. After researching the issue it was recommended to replace the exit rollers. It took me about 2 hours to replace the exit rollers but after I did it worked right away! The original material was soft and got gooey (old exit roller pictured with goo), this new material is hard plastic. The other pictures are after replacing the exit rollers. Tips: - Watch YouTube videos for examples, lookup "Fujitsu scanner exit roller replacement" and you'll find the videos, there are several - There are 8 screws total that you'll need to remove and replace if you have a flatbed as well, or 6 screws if you don't have a flatbed - If you have a flatbed, unscrew the screws on bottom, at the back, first, then slide the ADF back to release it - Make sure to snap on the gears as tight as you can, otherwise it may make a noise and say it jammed again if it's not tight enough - The ribbon can be released by pulling down on the little white surrounding plastic, then pulling the ribbon out; to replace, slide in ribbon and push white plastic back up - The power cable with multiple colors needs to go in with the yellow cable on the left hand side if looking at it from the back in the normal orientation (where text is read normal) - Be careful when you take apart the scanner as the wires are very tight, slow movements - Use a magnet or tray to hold on to the screws Overall very satisfied! Material is more durable than the original Fujitsu OEM exit rollers!

This is an excellent product and I was able to fix my fi-6140z to top-notch condition. Unfortunately, due to the fe-6140z design, replacing these rollers is not easy (this is a Fujitsu problem, not a problem with the repair parts). You can do it, but expect some challenges in replacing it.

You may need to have a little mechanical ability to install but definitely fixed the problem with my scanner. Just make sure to get the clips and gears installed correctly. BE Careful pulling out some of the gears as the plastic is brittle and may break.

Perfect replacement rollers for my scanner. The repair was a pain in the you-know-what, but worth not having to spend $400+ on a new scanner.

I only used one since the other roller was ok. It was an exact replacement for the Fujitsu fi-6130.

Product came quickly and works as advertised. It was difficult to repair myself even with a You Tube video but finally got the part installed and the unit put back together.
