Solid aluminum body with bright variable beam
I have no means to validate the lumens advertised but the output is very bright with a broad circular pattern at the high setting. The control button can be pushed twice more to successively step-down the intensity of a steady beam. The fourth push of the button changes the output to a rapid flash sequence that I found annoying and impractical for my purposes. The fifth (!) press of the button emits an additional light pulse sequence mimicking an “SOS” signal. All of the button presses are required each time I want to turn off the light; hence, the 4-Star rating instead of 5-Star.Recharging is very easy with the supplied USB cord. The flashlight maintains a charge very well and seldom needs to be plugged-in to refresh it. Various beam patterns can be achieved by sliding the reflector barrel approximately one inch forward from its’ innermost position. Fully retracted, the output is a broad well-defined circle which becomes progressively smaller as the barrel is pushed outward. At the outermost extension the pattern is changed to an elliptical diamond shape with crosshairs.Above the switch are four blue L.E.D.s which indicate the battery’s state of charge. The detachable lanyard is strong enough to allow the flashlight to be hung for storage or temporarily hang from the wrist while fumbling for keys or retrieving the mail, but not much else.Overall, this flashlight is a very good product that has thus far been trouble-free and a good value for the cost.

A well built, powerful flashlight to light up the dark...
Nice, well-built flashlight that is very, very bright. Great for using in my backyard to see in the distance of my property. Simple to use, charges quickly and seems to last quite a while before needing another charge. This replaces an older Mag Light D Cell that lasted over 12 years. Not a fan of all the settings when pushing the button but at least the regular uses for the flashlight are the first button presses. For those that haven't used a flashlight this powerful before, it's bright in a way that the older flashlights can't compete with. It's almost painfully bright sometimes, especially indoors or when switching in on in the dark. If the lens is aimed the wrong way, it can blind you temporarily (if you reacted fast enough), especially up close. Definitely not a toy flashlight.I've seen several posts here about the difficulty of turning the flashlight off after use. Regardless of what setting your flashlight was on, just hold the button down for a few seconds and the light will go off. The seller refers to this as a "long press" of the button.I can recommend purchasing this item.

You must own this LED Flashlight
I am not going to give you a technical analysis with the factory specifications. Here are the basics.Do you need a very bright LED Flash Light at a good price and do not want to change batteries?Stop, your search is over.I purchased (at listed price) 3 of these one year ago. They are very bright and the battery life is great. They have held a full charge for over 6 months sitting on a shelf.Heard a noise in my backyard, I scared a creature (it ran) with its brightness and it lighted up a half acre.I was working on a car engine and needed to light up the entire compartment. It worked for 4 hours on Medium. When traveling on my motorcycle and needed help the SOS feature really works. Was told by Highway Patrol, they saw the distress signal over a mile away.Try this light, you will be happy.NOTE-I was not compensated for this review. I have probably purchased over 6 flash lights in the last 3 years. This one is a keeper.

One Annoying Flaw
Overall this is an adequate flashlight: it's bright and so far the charge holds well. Here is what isannoying about it: turning it off. I only use the flashlight in the regular flashlight mode which is the first mode. To turn it off I have to go through the other four modes. Just annoying. Maybe it's me, but it is a bit cumbersome to hit a button five times to turn it off.

Brighter than any other, solid and tough, money saving because it's rechargeable
This flashlight is amazing. I'm a retired policeman we always bought good bright and solid flashlights. I would have loved to have this one over any of the others. The others I had over the years were good and they would have rough lives from being dropped on concrete and used to do things like break up ice. I haven't tried doing those things with this one, but am very confident it is just as tough as those. Being rechargeable is a great extra. Over time it will actually pay for itself with the money saved over the cost of batteries and it's aways fully bright.

Flashlight
i bought my flashlight about 6 months ago. i use it about once a week or sometimes i may go close to 2 weeks. when i first bought it, it worked great and held a charge for a long time. Last few months i have notice it wasn't holding a charge very long. A week I ago put it on the charger because the light was very dim. Then I took it off the charger the next day and it was bright. Later on, I went to go use in the evening and it was very, very dim. When I got home, I was going to charge it up. But when i got home it was completely dead. plugging it into the charger nothing happened. No battery power blue lights even lit up, the ones that tell you the battery strength. So, I spent almost $40 on a flashlight that only lasted 6 months the most. The flashlight feels like a solid built light, but the components inside are probably put together cheaply. I will not buy another like that.

Indestuctable,and bright
Super bright.Indestructable.After a house fire that destroyed my home, I was surveying the destruction and in the rubble, after extreme heat and water from fighting fire, there was the handle sticking up out of muck and ash .Pulled it up and brushed it off.Pushed the button and it lit up!!!!.Amazing tool!!!
