I have 6 dicolor panels and the vs4 went out. can i buy this and use it as my vs4? in other words coming out from the dvd player to this to the panels

Yes you can... I'm assuming your just wondering about the scaling factor? I'm typically use my video panel for concerts, but lately I've been doing renting panels for lots of sporting events. And I it works fine just going out of the cable box to the MCTRL660 to the panels.
