The Complete Jewish Study Bible: Illuminating the Jewishness of God's Word

Best Bible Translation I have ever read, and the study notes are magnificent they really do give you an insight from a Jewish perspective which correctly informs the reader how to understand scripture.

I am a 19 year old man that has been studying the bible for a over a year. I fell in love with Yeshua Jesus and I wanted to read his word, but I couldn’t find an English translation that was accurate and easy to read. It was hard for me to understand many words.But this study bible is truly incredible, it’s easy to understand, restores the authenticity of the bible by bringing the Hebrewic roots of our faith to the front line.Our God is the God of Israel, we have a Jewish messiah, therefore I strongly urge all Christians and Jews to read this bible!! It’s a perfect understanding of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Hadasha (New Testament).It is super essential when reading the bible to understand the context so that we do not interpret scripture to our own understanding, so the study notes at the bottom helps to provide context of most scriptures and each book has an explanation of the context etc.The bible uses Hebrew words with English pronunciation, but there is a page at the back that tells you what each word means in modern English.It’s such a wonderful bible, I fell in love with it!!Strongly recommend this incredible bible!

Too many Christians have forgotten or ignored the Jewish context to our faith. This study bible is an incredible resource for learning about our faith and its roots. As a minister in training this will be very useful for my future studies and work.

I had a lots of bible versionsas I like to compare: this one uses the real jewish names for people and places and the translation has been meticulously made which leaves you with the feeling like: where have you been my whole life!? I am so glad I found this authentic translation which changes everything for me. I have a tree of life version also and now I can understand what certain people were on about in regards of a "true" translation. The price is nice too! Recommended!

I like that it gives a view of what the writer was saying in accessible language rather than Elizebethan and uses Hebrew names in a lot of instances.It brings the Jewishness of God, Yeshua ( Jesus ) and His word closer to home.The additional passages offer some illumination of Hebrew thought and contextualizes the narrative somewhat.But obvs thats just my take on it.
