Great how-to and theory for mini splits
Bought this almost two years ago, and I’ve successfully installed two mini-splits at home: one 12k Pioneer very similar to the C&H models shown in the illustrations, and one 12k Mitsubishi. The book and associated YouTube videos gave me the confidence to do the first unit, and I referenced it a bit the next year to do the Mitsubishi. Excellent clarity of writing and illustrations, good editing (no glaring typos or errors as sometimes happens with more niche texts), and detailed step-by-step procedures alongside the “why” make this a great buy.If you learn well by reading and need to know the subject matter, I highly recommend this book. Photo shows pulling a vacuum on the Mitsubishi lineset after nitrogen pressure test and leak check.

A must have HVAC textbook
This book is a must have in your library if you’re in the residential hvac industry. It’s very detailed and the bold letters make it especially easy to read even if you’re just getting started in hvac. Love the step by step trouble shooting guide and procedures. Craig is awesome, love his hvac YouTube videos also, go checked it out, I wish they made more textbooks, theirs pictures on every Paige. Just so much information.

Great knowledge Book
The media could not be loaded. This work by Mr. Craig captures all his knowledge in the HVACR profession, it is an easy-to-read book with images that supports the explanation of each process, for me it has been of great help since I advanced in two fundamental areas in my Profession, such as Being best HVACR technician and advance my level of English even having the option of having acquired it in Spanish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The world of AC's captured in a sheets document.
I expected nothing less. The printing is perfect, and the quality of the teaching and illustrative materials are excellent. I would love to see this type of book available in the field of residential and commercial electricity.

Worth its weight in gold
I rarely write reviews but in this case I felt obliged to express my view. This book is a mine of practical information which represents a hands-on approach to servicing the inverter mini-split AC units. I did my HVAC course studies over twenty years ago. If only I had this kind of book, instead I did my studies with books full of theoretical principals but very little practical information.Who is this book for? It’s for anyone working in the HVAC field, whether you are a beginner or seasoned technician.I also have Craig Migliacco other excellent book, “Refrigerant Charging and Servicing Procedure for Air Conditioning”. I like Migliacco style of teaching and recommend checking his YouTube videos.I recommend this book without any reservations.

Very imformative book
I've watch several of Craig's videos and decided to purchase this book so that I can better understand my own mini split system since HVAC techs with in-depth knowledge are difficult to find. I am not an HVAC professional and this book is very informative and explains all of the workings of the mini split as well as installation and maintenance of the unit. The book is over 300 pages with numerous diagrams. I would highly recommend this book for the novice as well as the professional.
