Does the job
I had a lancet device that is part of a set with a big glucose meter manufacturer's device, but which seemed to need replacing every year and a half. So rather than have all the hassle of getting them, or my doctors surgery, to replace it again I thought I'd try this one as it's quite inexpensive. And overall I have to say it's doing a pretty good job. It takes Agamatrix (33 SWG I think) lancets without issue and is no more difficult to use than any other similar device I've had. It has a number of depth settings around the end for adjustment, which is quite common. As is also quite common with many other similar devices, the adjustments often change when removing the end to put in, or take out, a lancet - so it needs checking before potentially making a painfully deep stab, or one that doesn't draw enough blood. And the action is as you'd expect, so the lancing is quick and (assuming you have good lancets) should be no more painful than other lancing devices, in my opinion. So I can't say that it's perfect, but I can say anything non-perfect about it seems no different from more expensive proprietory ones I've used. Which, if you understand what I'm on about, is a pretty good reason in my book to give it five stars.

Best blood sample lance on the market.
Works well. Only one i have been able to use to get a reliable blood sample for my blood sugar tests, and I have tried many. Definitely worth the money.

Best out of 4 manufacturers devices tried.
Using generic lancets, this is - by far - the easiest device to load, set & fire out of 4 different lancing devices I've used to date. One model breaks easily, one model is awkward to set and a third was terrible for retaining the lancet when removing the lancet hygiene cap. This device loads a generic lancet without fuss, the cap screws on and any adjustments required are just a twist of the cap. The trigger shows a red mark when primed, blank if fired. You could easily pull the lancet out for disposal but there's a decently sized eject slider on the side too. So I bought a couple more just in case mine dies and these are out of stock. Great value for money -as long as it lasts - I'll update if there are issues in the future.

Good replacement
Needed a new lance and this was perfect, fitted my needles as it should and is very easy to use, i found it a lot better than the lance the item came with! Seems well built and will hopefully last a while.

Works very well with universal lancets.
This is the second one I have ordered. The first one eventually wore out in that it wouldn’t stay primed - but it worked very well and accommodates the lancets I get on prescription.

Works as it should, clever but simple design. Just nothing to make me sing and dance, a simple but effective item.
