I'm taking one 500 mg. capsule of this and one 500 mg. capsule of reishi once a day as adaptogens. Hard to notice a difference yet, but the Shiitaki seems to be a great product. Will buy again as needed.

I like how this capsule only has one ingredient inside the capsule--shiitake. Once, I ran out of fresh shiitake mushrooms to add to my soup broth so I decided to open a few capsules and just added the powder and it did the trick. Not as good as the fresh shiitake mushrooms, of course, but, it did just enough to do the trick. Good product.

These capsules are a good size. They are easy to swallow and do not have any taste. The capsules do smell like mushrooms when you open the bottle, but I didn't taste anything. Recommended dosage is 1 per day with a meal. There are 90 capsules included inside the bottle and I love that this is more than a 1 month supply, which makes it a much better value at app. $0.26 per capsule. I have not had any side effects or stomach upset when taking the capsule with a meal or a snack.So far, I have been using these capsules regularly. I have not noticed anything, but I also have not been sick in a few months so I am hoping they are helping my immune system get stronger. I feel that these capsules are good quality and look forward to trying more supplements with this brand.

US product. Good amount of polysaccharides, easy to swallow, nice option over powder.I use mushroom supplements daily. Sometimes I focus on one variety, sometimes I do a mix. I often use loose powders as it is more budget friendly, but sometimes I just dont feel like making a preparation (coffee, oats, smoothies, and sipping broths are my go to preparations). Sometimes simply swallowing a capsule is how i want to do it, sometimes I cant bother with swallowing another darn capsule. So I keep options on hand. I eat mushrooms too, but usually just portobella or the white cap kind. Cant possibly eat enough to make a difference. Hence supplementation.These do open up easily enough in case you prefer to have sprinkled over food or drink. No real taste or smell.90 capsules- which if take according to directions is a 1 month supply. Maybe more depending on your needs.

I'm new to all things mushrooms. I got this for my husband who was interested in both mushroom supplements and adding some anti-inflammatories into his diet.After researching I realized this was going to fit his needs. So he's been taking them for almost 3 weeks. And not really sure if it is this supplement but he is healing from a terrible issue of itching. He's been battling that itch for over 3 months and he's finally feeling better. Like, it's been almost debilitating. And last week he started breaking out in hives. I questioned if he should stop taking these and he said he thinks it's healing him from the inside out.Whatever the cause...I'm grateful he's finding relief after all this struggle and time. And I do believe shiitake has had a heavy hand in it. By the immune system boost, white blood cell boost and the anti-inflammatory effects. As well as it bringing extra nutrition into his body to help benefit that healing.I know he definitely recommends these!

These mushroom supplements have been wonderful for me. I've always had issues with my digestive system, causing me to have issues with going to the bathroom as normal people do. Since I started taking these in March, I kid you NOT, i go like a normal person & feel great. They're easy to take & swallow, without any weird aftertaste. Overall its a great supplement with healthy ingredients that can benefit things like immune & digestive system, heart health , skin, hair & more! Shiitake mushrooms are also a good source of vitamins, minerals & other health promoting compounds.

I try to use mushrooms in my diet, but ,frankly, I can't be consistent with it. This capsules are a great alternative to fresh mushrooms. The capsules are easy to swallow, don't have any taste or side effects.

Shiitake has been a part of my daily supplement regimen for several years. This is my first experience with any product from Nature Restore and so far, I am impressed. There is nothing in this product except for the Shiitake mushroom and the capsule... no fillers, no preservatives, and no flow agents.The capsules and typical size and easy to swallow. The product page says this item is 3rd party tested, but there is nothing on the bottle about that... and nothing on the product page showing which organization tested it nor any of the details about what it was tested for and the actual results.
