Lodge Silicone Assist Handle Holder, Red

I’m not sure if these come in different sizes because mine doesn’t fit snug on my frying pan. It’s great quality and really good for holding you heavy, hot pan. Just check if there are different sizes before buying, but I would recommend the product

This is yet another excellent LODGE product, like its red silicon slip-over handle. High quality manufacture throughout, and it arrived in good time.

Excellent if used just when you need to grab the grill/pan. Don't leave on while cooking as it will heat up a lot.

This is my second purchase. Very useful when you have lodge skillets. These provide good grip and excellent heat shielding. Would recommend them to anyone who is buying or bought a lodge skillet. They do fit other saucepans too

This arrived and it looked way too large, but it fits my Lodge Double Dutch Oven, my 10 1/4" deep skillet I use as a Nabe pot for my Japanese Nabemono and hot pot meals, and 12" skillet perfectly, the curve matching the pot or pan. It also fits my very old (1840's) 5 qt deep camp Dutch Ovens, and helps steady my 1840's European style 2.5 qt, 3 legged bean pot - NOT the African one - when I'm moving it. I also have Wagner, Griswold, and very old unidentified skillets with assist handles, my 3 qt, 4 qt deep, and two 5 qt, DO's (one deep), which it works very well on. I have 4 carbon steel & Chinese cast iron woks with the metal loop handles, from Wok Shop on Amazon, and this works on them, but not quite as well as the ASPHH31, more rectangle shape holder. Again this is worth it just to remind the handles are hot. Not much problem on the kitchen stove, but using my Big Kahuna (Amazon) as a wok stove, the handles get very hot. I recommend this highly. If I need to leave it on a handle as warning, like with my metal handle woks, I'll just use a pot holder over this holder to move the skillet, wok or DO. Just having this red thing on a hot handle as warning has saved many nasty burns, especially when someone else didn't realize the skillet, wok or DO was still very hot. That safety alone would have paid for them (I just ordered 1 more of each shape) even if they didn't work so very well as an assist holder.

Works perfectly with Lodge Pan - love them!

I love my Lodge skillets but their Silicone accessories could be way better. This handle heats up quite easily if you leave it on for a bit. The only way to use it effectively is to not have it on but to slide it on only when you want to lift the vessel. Fortunately this isn't too much of a pain because the handle slides in quite easily - I use it for Lodge 10.25" and 12" skillets. Their silicone covers for the long skillet handle that goes on the other side of this product is slightly more effective, but if you're using a full skillet for a while that gets pretty hot and unusable too. They do the job but I'm a little disappointed with Lodge silicone products. TL;DR: These get hot if left on for a while, only slide on when needed. Better than a napkin or gloves though.

Wenn man keine Küchentücher verwenden will sind diese Griffe ein perfekter Ersatz. Lodge Pfannen werden sehr heiss und man braucht dicke Küchentücher oder eben solche Silikon Griffe. Praktisch bei diesen Griffen ist, dass man sie in den Geschirr Spüler geben kann. Diese Anschaffung hat sich gelohnt. Habe auch den Mini Griff für die Pfannen Stiele gekauft. So hat man die schweren Pfannen gut im Griff.
