Well sharp and comfortable to hold.Good choice of cutting tools.Very pleased with every thing about these including the box they came in.All in all a very good pro set of tools for the lathe.

They are solid and light and hold the bit bars well. I like that I can adjust the stick-out of the bars to suit the task at hand. I also bought extra handles and extensions so I could have three chisels ready to go at all times. I found this much more convenient than switching the bit bars out between operations. I recommend that you consider the handle extensions, as without them I feel like the chisel could fairly easily be yanked out of my hand should the bit bite too much into the wood. That is just my 2 cents for what it's worth.I like these very much, and definitely recommend them. I will purchase more of these as my needs dictate.

I have 3 sets of these, along with the carbide bits they sell. They work beautifully and are easy to set up and use. I found that I didn't enjoy switching the bits around, so I bought enough handles and extensions to have three chisels set up and ready to go at all times. I have done a fair bit of turning in dry oak and ash and the bits are still sharp. I definitely recommend these.

Easy to use and with clean results.

The set has everything you need but spare blades. The spares are inexpensive and unless you are taking big whacks with it… it stays sharp for a long time.I’ve had a few carbide sets. One less expensive but with the same attachments… but a different company… and the quality of everything was obviously less.This is the highly recommended if you are a more experienced turner… or you take it slow… and are looking for a solid intro to carbide set. This is great and it easily switches between the tools.I’ve owned this for a month and switch blades on two tools. Not bad.

I know some frown on the carbide tools as a “cheat code” for turning, but as a beginner I’ve been able to create nice 😊 projects while still learning traditional tools. I’m definitely happy w them.
