This knife is ridiculously good for the price. It's comparable to other brands costing over 5 times the price. It has a comfortable full tang handle with good fit and finish, and it came with a very sharp edge which it holds it well. The blade thickness is just right, not too thick or too thin. A+

Excellent chef's knife. Quite sharp, sturdy, feels good in the hand. Chop vegetables, mince garlic, I have even used it to cut thick steaks from bone-in ribeye roasts, and to carve a turkey! I've had it for over a month, still sharp. At this price, if it gets dull I'll just buy another one!

Great knife so far. Really good balance right at the bolster. Nice grip feel. Came sharp. Blade thickness is good. Has good weight as well. Gonna put it to the test next week and see how the edge holds up and how it takes the stone. Not to mention the price. If this knife is reliable then I will be pleasantly surprised.

I am amazed at the quality of this knife for the price. I have another chefs knife I paid over a hundred dollars for and does the job equally as well. Great balance, full riveted tang and supper sharp heavy blade.

I bought it because a friend recommended it. The knife is strong quality and sold at a super reasonable prices; even more because it often has promo discounts. If it wasn’t because of the blade shape I would give 5 starts

Really good quality for the price. The steel is a bit different then I am used to in a imported knife in terms of when sharpening it does not sounds like it is getting sharp but when in use it is very sharp and tomatoes are a perfect test and this knife passes!

Needed a new chef's knife on relatively short notice, decided to go for the gamble. Came very sharp out of the box and it holds an edge well. I only have to sharpen mine about once a week or so with daily usage. Unfortunately it did not come with a blade cover so I am having to repurpose an old one I have but for less than $10 it still a steal for the quality. Just annoying that the Amazon Basics logo is laser engraved on it as a reminder. But great knife overall.

A lo largo de la vida he usado infinidad de cuchillos, caros, baratos, etc. Este cuchillo lo compré con super descuento, pero incluso a precio original es una muy buena opción. A mi gusto personal el peso y el balanceo son los correctos, tiene buen grosor y el filo de fábrica es muy bueno. Debo decir que siempre afilo los cuchillos antes de usarlo, pero este ha durado más. Es pesado, solido, firme, se siente bien en la mano y por el precio es maravilloso, he probado cuchillos más caros menos satidfactorios
