Bluey: Awesome Advent Book Bundle Paperback – 28 Sept. 2023

Our daughter, like most 5 year old's, is Bluey-Mad and when I chanced upon this product while browsing Amazon, we decided to try it out!It has worked well! Our daughter looks forward to opening this one just as much as her chocolate Advent Calendar (and she LOVES chocolate!), and instead of tooth-rotting sweets, she gets good quality coloring or story books, which have just enough writing and pictures to keep them interested, for the length of the story - she actually wants to read them before going to school!While the stories are retreads of episodes of the cartoon series, it matters not a jot to our daughter. If anything, I feel it works better this way, as it helps her figure out the actual plot, so she can just concentrate on trying to read the words. The books are well made and should last forever, although, obviously, once you've colored a coloring in book, that's it!Great buy at a more than reasonable price point!

I got this advent calendar for my class, as not all of them are able to eat chocolate - and it promotes reading (of course). The children enjoyed opening the doors. The books are a decent size (similar to Mr. Men books). Some books are stories and others are colouring books - I didn't realise this before but it is still a great idea. Bluey is so well liked amongst children of a young age, so they were all keen to read their book. It is a very sturdy calender, very big and very well made. I would definitely purchase this again. I'm so glad I found this advent calender - so much better than chocolate one as it gives them something to keep as well as encourage reading.

My daughter loved it!

It is good size and has great Bluey stories. But... There is too many colouring books, I would prefer more of stories, especially that for small children this books are to small to colour. I like it but I am not 100% sure if I would buy it again. On positive side, the calendar really motivated my little one to read at least one book per day. He really looking forward to open new one so it is great alternative for chocolate ones.

Bought as a gift rather than the advent calendar, but made a perfect gift for a toddler. Lots of little things to open and all had Bluey on them.

We had a similar advent calendar last year (Hey Duggee) so was a no brainer to get another book advanet calendar this year as my daughter loves story time and is a nice treat at bedtime.The only real downside to this one (other than the price) is it seems like about 1/3-1/2 the books are colouring books not stories - last year's was all story books and we still read them now so got the money's worth and didn't mind spending again this year. Colouring books whilst cute, do not give the same value for money in my view as they are "done" with much quicker.Some might like this, but for us it is disappointing and my daughter is disappointed when she opens the door and its a colouring book instead of a bedtime story. Would be better for there to be more/all story books.

So delighted with this advent calendar. I didn’t want to get a chocolate calendar for my 3 year old and he was still excited every morning to see which book he’d get, whether it be a story or colouring book.We now have the bluey collection & beautiful memories of excitedly reading stories together - just lovely!

Grandson loves this calendar, the books are a great addition to his Bluey collection.
