This is my absolute favorite board game in my collection. The theme is so heavy, thick, and brutally make you sweat out every decision you make for survival of your small refugee camp. You have to manage what little resources given to you, including your own people and then at the end of each day decide, hope and pray that your decisions were for the greater good of your people, no matter how brutal or unpopular those decisions are.I’ve played through 3 sessions so far, and have come close to winning, but not quite. Each time I realize what I’ve done wrong and where I missed opportunities. This is an excellent solo experience and even better with 2-3 people as each you battle with your own morals.Start with the base game, if you enjoy it, get the Frostlanders expansion (adds more cards and technologies, playmat and miniatures to make the theme that much thicker. There’s a board game companion app that helps you through the phases and even has the soundtrack from the video game (as if the theme isn’t thick enough at this point, now you’re drowning in it!). If you don’t mind a bit of a setup and a couple of games to learn the game, definitely get this one!

Buen servicio. Tenia mis dudas para comprarlo, pero al verlo cuando llego se nota la diferencia con los componentes base ya que estos ocupan mucho menos espacio en caja respecto a los componentes de madera. Buenas minis

I like this expansion due the quality

Outside packaging dented, so was inside. It was minor, but not so fun to give an expensive gift with a crumpled corner

expensive and big box with minimal amounts of ugly plastic miniatures and a LOT of empty space - returned it right away, not worth buying to substitute the cardboard tokens

This game was a lot of fun. My husband and I plan on playing again tonight. We thought we won our first game, but realized we were only supposed to have 5 civilian cards each the whole game, every time we used one, we would draw a new one..(whoops) There is a lot to digest rule wise, but once you get it, you get it.
