Does this leave residue or a layer of product around brows after applying it like most brow gels do?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a layer of product/residue but, like all brow gels, it's sort of like applying clear mascara but to the brows. The product stiffens your brows like hair gel. I wouldn't say that it's very visible and it's a decent product, especially given the price point. Are you looking for a residue-free product?
