This is not pure copper at all!!! If you use a Dremel tool and shave off just a little bit of the top layer it will reveal the steel that’s underneath. This is a disgrace. I cannot believe people would do something like this and interfere with peoples health and business like that! This should be handled to immediately.

I bought this for my husband as a Valentine's Day gift this year. I can't afford a rose gold chain to match his wedding ring at the moment and copper is the closest I can get, as I can't stand gold-plated anything and would rather spend the money on pure metal. I honestly don't know for sure if this is pure copper or not and have no way to definitively prove or disprove it. It appears to have the distinctive copper color when compared to my copper ring, which is undoubtedly pure copper. As another reviewer mentioned, I believe this has a coating on it that prevents it from tarnishing because it looks quite glossy. They weren't kidding when they said this was heavy! 😂 Overall a nice buy for the price point.
