Works fine in a much appreciated machine
I truly don't see any difference with the grounds container that came with the machine. Maybe I already had the upgraded version, since I received it fairly recently. It came in handy when we had a 4&1/2 hr. power outage a few days ago after a bad storm. I'll reiterate : I love this machine (except for the "cream" color). I really like the idea of bringing several freshly ground (inasmuch as possible) containers with me vs. expensive, not fresh, and environmentally negative (usually) pods. I think the pods should be used only in emergencies, as a secondary back-up, or when grounds are unavailable. It is a good idea to have two options, though. These grounds containers work very well, in spite of being messier to clean. So be prepared with extra cloths or a few paper towels when out and about. BTW, great to take on a bike ride....
