I like that they didn't fade or bleed die when washed. They still had sizing after the first wash which makes them a bit stiff, but it should go with further washings. The color is as shown in the ad.

Just what I ordered

The stitching and folding on the hems is a bit uneven, and there were many loose threads to be snipped. But these are great for tie dye projects- they took the dye well and came out vibrantly. Overall an excellent value for the price, and great for having something for everyone in a large group to dye without coordinating sizes or breaking the bank.

I bought 4 sets these, so 48 total. Ordered 10APR, delivered 16APR. Strong chemical smell that easily washed away. I used the hottest water, Sanitary Mode, Heavily Soiled settings to make sure the smell was neutralized, they were as clean and as shrunk as I could get them. I used unscented proprietary soap and half a cap of Gain Fireworks scent beads.For the dryer, I set it on the highest heat and Most Dry. No dryer sheet, just 2 trusty woolen dryer orbs. The amount of lint in the trap from 48 brand new cotton squares was impressive. Less than half had sewn edges so they frayed mightily.As I intend to make masks from this cloth, it was second verse same as the first. They all went through a second round of full heat, full sanitation, full drying.The amount of lint appeared slightly less yet the deep, harsh wrinkling got out of hand. Some reminded me of an accordian and there were three that had self-pleated so completely that it ended up as a 1 1/3" wide strap that I'll have to iron flat by hand along with each of the other 47 as each one has deep set wrinkling covering at least 15% of each square.As for fraying, the ones not cut on the bias did okay but the straight cuts are a little nightmare.This fabric isn't nearly as thick as an American bandana and it's not as soft either. Because my patterns call for several layers plus added interfacing (which will add softness, smoothness and additional filtration), this fabric still works for me. Although I will be grumbling about all of that ironing! I made sure to pull the fabric straight from the dryer to avoid this to no avail.Is it cotton? I cannot say for certain yet that's what I'm calling it. Pure synthetic fabrics like polyester do not shrink. These shrank easily. They arrived as promised being 22" X 22".After two long trips through the hottest water and hottest dryer, I pulled a random sample from one that didn't suffer some fraying. 19.75" X 19.5"The shrinkage made them a tiny bit thicker but still not to traditional bandana thickness: I can still read a label through one of these with no extra lighting. After the washings they are a little bit softer but still not to what one may expect with the word "bandana" in its description.For making health-conscious, multi-filtered, washable masks that I will beef up to spec, one by one, these still are good for my use although they are requiring far more extra work on the outset.If you can't find this type of cut fabric elsewhere at a decent price and need it for masks, these can fill the need. Just know it requires some work upfront that you may not have expected.Good luck y'all

I bought these because my workplace insisted I not wear patteened or multicolor bandanas while on-shift, and this selection was the cheapest. Thus I'm not entirely surprised that the dimensions are *not* 22"x22", though I'm still disappointed.• The bandanas are rectanglur rather than square, and a frequent dimension is 19.5" along the shorter side. I'm... not actually sure if any sides have measured a full 22", I think the longest may have been 21.5".• They're not solidly opaque when held in the air but folded and worn as a head covering it's just fine.• I haven't tested any extensive wear on these, but I'll update if it becomes relevant.All in all, these do alright so long as you remember these are the cheap bandanas. Still disappointed they're not the promised size.

Am using these for sashiko embroidered tank tops and halter tops. They are a great size for my purpose and while the weave is tight enough to remain intact once I cut off the hemming it is not so tight I can’t get the fatter sashiko needles through with ease. These launder and iron up perfectly. They are a lighter weight and would either need to be doubled for the top front; but, because I am using a design with a fold over where it matters it is a non-issue. (Photo taken on green cutting board. Fabtic at top of photo is double layer with foreground in single layer to show translucency). These dye up beautifully-just ensure you scour first (not certain if any sizing has been applied to the fabric - doesn’t feel like it but better to wash than waste time). My only very minor complaint the fabric wasn’t straightened prior to construction so some I lost about 1 inch while straightening and squaring but given many are approx 1 inch larger it’s nbd. Will probably purchase again bc these are a good deal for my purpose.

would have prefered the edges to be sewn a little better and for bandanas 22x22 is almost too small 27"is bestYet the fabric holds color well!
