I’ve used Thrift Shop and Cool Beans since late 2024 and recently added Out of Sight. Working 12-hour shifts in a body shop office environment, I need makeup that is as reliable as the tools in the shop. These shadow sticks are a true set it and forget it staple for my professional routine. ​The application is incredibly fast for a busy morning. The formula is creamy and glides on without tugging, which I really appreciate. I simply swipe the color onto my lids and give a quick dab with my finger to prevent any initial creasing. Once they set, the matte finish remains perfectly in place for the full 12 hours. The colors are true to the stick and stay vibrant without fading or migrating. ​Crucially for someone who wears eyeglasses all day, there is zero transfer to my frames and absolutely no raccoon effect or smudging under my eyes by the end of the shift. Even with sensitive eyes, I have experienced no irritation or watering. I typically pair these with a brown or burgundy mascara for a soft, polished look that coordinates well with my daily uniform polos in varying solid colors. ​These offer impressive, dependable quality at a very affordable price point. If you want a clean, professional eye look that survives a long workday without mid-day touch-ups, I highly recommend these.

This fits my need for a soft, matte, easy-to-apply eyeshadow stick which stays on and does not melt into creases. Thrift Shop is a nice neutral shade for me; I am not too keen on the other colors though - too crayon-like, except for Cool Beans - which makes a nice eye liner shade. I do wish e.l.f. would make a deep forest green color - I would use this color as an eyeliner shade. As it is, I have to purchase a competitor's product to get the green color I want to use. e.l.f. makes nice products overall and is cruelty-free.

I bought the dark brown, green, and dark blue. Here's the thing, the quality control over these doesn't seem precise. The brown was dried out and difficult to apply, kinda patchy but not too bad. I was able to layer it and added bronze shimmer over it to attempt to cover up some of the patchiness, and it worked alright. It's the exact brown I love to use so I'm keeping it, maybe I'll get better luck warming it up or wetting it. See photos for detail. The green is creamy, applies perfectly, and looks fairly similar to the photo however it's not as pigmented as the ad makes it seem. I applied it over white primer and it helped a little but made it look more pastel or ashy, like it didn't apply over the primer but mixed it into itself even though it was properly dry and set before applying the green. Also, still like it and will continue to try to make it work. The dark blue is a dream, I love the color. The application is a little bit between both the above, a little creamy but dried out enough to tug on application and be a little patchy. All shades stay on exceptionally well. I have oily deep set very hooded eyes and even with my go to primer and application methods that never fail me, it does still end up kinda stuck into my lid crease which is disappointing but not too unexpected for this formula. However, the rest stays put on my eyelid all day long without much problems. Didn't smear, streak, run, dissolve, or end up on my glasses (and I have eye allergies and very watery eyes so that's a big plus). Came off fairly easily with micellar water. I would suggest these but maybe buying in store will get your a fresher batch that isn't dried out and patchy.

This applies smoothly and seems to stay in place well (though I haven't done yard work in it, which is my final boss in the game of eyeliner). Price is reasonable. I'm just disappointed that the color is more of a dark teal than a true navy blue.

I love this particular color and have ordered several in case it ever gets discontinued. It stays on all day compared to powder eye shadows. It can feel a bit tacky, but worth it to me if it lasts all day.

Flesh Colored I generally like these eye shadows but this time the color just blends with my skin tone and it doesn’t show up as anything. No color. Was a waste of my money.

I absolutely love this. As the name implies, it does not budge and stays on all day. People constantly compliment me on the "Bombshell" color. I put a dab of white highlighter in the corner of my eye to accentuate it and brown on the crease. Its effortless, able to all be applied in less than a minute and gets so my compliments. Also, for my folks who live in hot, humid climates, you have probably experienced chap sticks, lip sticks, color sticks and eye shadow sticks melt before. This stuff does not. It can sit in my car in 100F, 95% humidity weather with feels like temp in the 110s and it doesn't even soften.

This eyeshadow stick is a total winner! The color is gorgeous, goes on smoothly, and it truly does not budge once it sets. I have a few other shades but this pink one is PERFECTION. Perfect for quick makeup looks when I’m in a hurry. Great pigmentation, blends easily, and lasts all day. I strongly recommend using a dedicated makeup remover to get it off...I seriously mean it when I say it does not budge once it's on!

Bellissima! Matitona super pastosa... io la metto nell'angolo dell'occhio o come base per intensificare l'ombretto. Essendo molto morbida si sfuma bene ma se non settata con polveri o primer, tende a sparire. Il colore lime mi piace un sacco, consigliata!
