Excellent tea, tasty, was a good price

I’ve switched to decaf tea on the recommendation of my doctor. A long-time fan of regular Typhoo, I have found their decaf variety to provide a very similar and pleasing flavor. I don’t miss the caffeine.

This is the best tea, whether hot or iced.

Best tasting decaffeinated black tea that I've found. Their regular caffeinated Typhoo black tea is one of the boldest teas I've ever had, so it makes sense that their tea could stand up to the weakening of being decaffinated, better than other teas. I recommend steeping it much longer than regular, even 10 minutes. Long steeping deepens the flavor, but does not induce bitterness, because apparently it's mostly the caffeine that increases bitterness. I can now have a cuppa, with milk, in the evening, and it's just fine.

I've tried every brand of decaf black tea I can find and I always return to Typhoo! The strongest and best taste I've tested yet.

Sooo happy these were the original Typhoo teabags and boxed extremely well! Typhoo has followed PH Tips with changing their formula and I did not have the time/patience to go through another taste testing to see if I like it. I asked the seller before ordering. They responded immediately that they would go look, and came back with confirmation that it was the original (or “old”) packaging and tea. Thank you “Quality on Time”!

Bilge water. I decided to use this as compost.

Typhoo is an authentic blue-collar English tea blend from Birmingham. It brews dark and strong and powers through hard water. It is good neat, or with cream and sugar. This is not a subtle blend of black tea and is great as the first cup of char in the morning, or for a tea boost in the late afternoon. The tea bags I received did not have the string and tags advertised. Worse still if the circular bags were not removed within a short period of brewing time they would leak tea leaves. Fortunately, the Typhoo blend brews out quickly and removing the bags after a guesstimated minute still results in a strong cuppa. 4 Stars out of 5.

My mom loves this tea and ran out, I ordered this British version and my mom says its even better than the previous. Great purchase.
