Superb set of fittings at least on the face of it. Havent had the chance to use most of the huge selection of drill bits and fittings this pack contains but they appear to be good quality and almost identical to the ones that came with my dremel variable speed Li-ion drill. I have often thought I would buy the Dremels own add on packs to replace the 10 or so cutting blades i used up rather quickly (they came with the drill originally) but after seeing the price for the big sets I kinda thought it was too much as i doubted i would ever use half the heads and bits in the sets.Well in this set you get everything from polishers to diamond disk blades there were so many I barely fit them all into the huge blown plastic box the Dremel comes in, in fact some of the parts had to be put in the "spare" battery slot.For a mere £16 or so I have loads of cutting blades too which is what really sold me on this.10 x Fibre Glass Re-inforced Cut-Off Wheel 1-1/4 x 3/64in1 x Diamond Cut-Off Wheel 7/8in36 x Cut-Off Wheel 15/16 x 1/40in30 x Heavy Cut-Off Wheel 15/16 x 1/32in5 x Diamond Cutter 1/8in1 x High Speed Cutter 1/8in1 x High Speed Cutter 1/8inyou get 3 spare mandarils (drill bit, or little bar with a screw at the top, that holds the cutter and grinder blades) I only had one of these with the drill and Im always nearly losing it so that was great!Also really handy for me, as I have hundreds of drill bits that were always too small for the colet on the dremel (the part that "grips" the drill bits)and it only came with one, in this pack you get :1 x Collet 1/8in1 x Collet 3/32in1 x Collet 1/16inso again superb. All in all for this money I wouldnt care if i never use all the other stuff but there was simply LOADS there, it just "felt" like i had got a great deal. Especially if you take a look at the mere 100 piece Dremels own sets.expensive and far less comprehensive selections.Hope that helps some

I got this for my new Dremel (as it was so much cheaper than their own accessories). To be fair, it is very good value and is ideal as a starter kit if (like me) you just want a wide selection of tools to play with, and get used to using, before spending more on the proper versions.I found the sanding bands reasonable quality, but the little rubber drum that you fit them too was a bit naff and the bands kept slipping up and down (exposing the rubber below and marking the wood I was sanding). I got one of these (a proper Dremel one) with the original kit, and they work perfectly (giving no move at all), so it is clear you do get what you pay. I've remedied it by wrapping some masking tape around the rubber and trimming it down so that the bands are tight. The bands themselves are good enough, but don't remove as much wood as the original one did before wearing out (which is to be expected, really).I've used other parts of the kit with fair to good results. So far, only the drums have let me down. I'd certainly recommend this kit. The tools aren't the same quality as Dremel's own, but for this price you get a great selection. Like others, I found the storage box to be useless (I store them in one I bought from a DIY shop for a couple of quid).

This set has a good amount of varying bits, even though most of the 216 pieces are sand paper (but Dremel employs that particular marketing trick, too).It's cheap for the amount, compared to Dremel's own accessories. There's nothing to suggest that the quality of the bits is less than average, but they're cheap rotary tool bits, so being gentle is probably a good idea.The bits work in my Dremel 4000, with the  Dremel 2615448632 Keyless Quick Change Multi Tool Chuck 4486 . The shanks are ~3mm.The packaging is really unfortunate. It looks like a carry case, but it isn't. The plastic is welded at several points around the edge, so you'll have to cut it open with a good pair of scissors.After that you'll find the bits are held in the tray with sticky tape, which will take even more time to remove. This leaves residue, so you might also find yourself having to clean some of the them. Finally the tray you're left with is cheap, sticky from the tape, and not great for storage; so make sure you have somewhere to put the bits.I can't stress how excellent this set would be if they had just put some effort into the packaging. Literally any other form of packing would be better, and probably cost the same for them to implement. They ALMOST had a perfect product.Summary: a good value starter kit, but be prepared to endure unpacking it.

I bought this set of tools to use with my Dremel 3000 and have been very impressed with the results. I have had no problems in using the various attachments and have been particularly impressed with the ultra-thin, cutting discs, none of which have cracked in use. I can see that there may be issues using these thin discs with the mandrel supplied with my Dremel rather than one of the two mandrels that come with the kit. The mandrels in the kit have two, small, fibre washers to provide a 'cushion' on either side of the disc when it is screwed on the mandrel. Without these washers I think the discs would be much more prone to cracking when the small screw on the mandrel is tightened to secure the disc in place. In the the Dremel mandrel the securing screw just screws straight in to the end of the mandrel – with no washers – OK perhaps for some of the attachments, but likely to stress the thin, brittle discs and make them susceptible to fracture.With regard to the 'display' packing case, I read some of the negative comments of other buyers before attempting to open it. The top of the case is secured by 8, heat-sealed 'buttons'. These can be cut carefully with a very sharp Stanley knife and the case can then be opened easily. If the outer plastic case is then turned upside down, then the attachment tray fits snugly in the case and it can be used as a reasonably adequate storage facility.All-in all, a very good product at a very good price.
