Excellent bit of kit
Purchased this to go with an Allen rack, as I knew I had a step through E bike to collect. The fit was excellent and it safely transported the e bike with about 7ths to spare

A fantastic and cost effective way to solve the problem of carrying a carbon frame bike.
This is a great and essential bit of kit if you have a carbon Fram bike. I use it on my 25.5kg eMTB on a Thule towball bike rack. It means I can make sure there is a good solid grip on the bike without risking damage to the frame.Two things to be aware of: 1) You need to cover the metal pin to stop it rubbing/marking the bike stem. I use a piece of hose pipe over the pin. This works perfectly. 2) If you are leaving your bike on the bike carrier unattended, its advisable to use a locking chain around the bike and carrier as it is not possible to lock the bar to the bike and/or rack.

No crossbar this is a good substitute
I purchased two of these for our efolding bikes to enable attachment to the bike rack on our motorhome and they do the job well.

Seems to be pretty solid and has good rubber protection.
Not road tested it yet, but looks good and solid. I like the safety wire so I can't lose the bar lock. Very hard to pull open if you are not strong (like me) but gives me good piece of mind it won't be doing any funy business when hooked onto my car rack! Am going to cut a piece of hose pipe to fit around the lock as others have suggested to stop my bike from getting scratched by the lock bar. Will come back and edit once I have had a chance to use it :)

This Solves A Problem
Perfect for carrying ladies or children's bikes by creating a "false crossbar" to then fit the bike on the carrier. Works well.
